Re: [RE-wrenches] Portable systems
People have been really happy with GoSun units. This is a very inspired, small company owned and operated by Patrick Sherwin. --- On 2024-08-16 19:42, August Goers via RE-wrenches wrote: I have a couple of Jackery units as well and they have worked great for 2 or 3 years now running my fridge, internet, and work computer setup when the power goes out. I've also taken them camping. Re: [RE-wrenches] Portable systems
A while ago I researched a half dozen systems from as many manufacturers and chose Bluetti as the best bang for the buck.I own and operate many of them, and have a few cabin owners using them instead of gasoline generators, happily.Anker is a relatively new entrant to the market of these devices, however has a long reputation in portable powerbanks and is my favorite manufacturer of those products. I think they would also be a good contender for this purpose. This market is growing fast and has many new players, so is hard to keep up with.-GlennSent from my 'smart'phone, so please excuse typos and spelling errors.-- Original message--From: Hilton Dier, III via RE-wrenchesDate: Fri, Aug 16, 2024 5:56 PMTo: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org;Cc: Hilton Dier, III;Subject:[RE-wrenches] Portable systemsI've got someone asking me about a portable system. Some of these even have the 240 receptacle to plug into a 30A home dryer receptacle for hurricane connection. Get the HV solar mppt built-in option and a some panels and you are set for the 30% tax credit. Might not need a wrench someday 😉 Dave Angelini Offgrid Solar "we go where powerlines don't" [1]https://offgridsolar1.com/ [2] [1] e-mail offgridso...@sti.net text 209 813 0060 On 2024-08-17 8:16 am, Glenn Burt via RE-wrenches wrote: A while ago I researched a half dozen systems from as many manufacturers and chose Bluetti as the best bang for the buck.
