[RBW] Re: FS: Brand New Brooks B.17 in Black & Brown
Mike, Are your B17s still available. If so, I may be interested in the brown one (is it tan or brown?). I live abroad with the military, so shipping would be to an APO. Shipping cost is the same as in the States, but you'd have to fill out one of those annoying customs forms. Thanks. [RBW] Re: perennial pants issue
Sorry, this is a bit late. You might try http://www.bicycleclothing.com. Jackson and Gibbens is made in Oregon, and I've been very happy with their stuff. -Scott On Oct 4, 3:34 am, jim_OLP wrote: > Every year when it starts to get cold, I undertake a futile search for > cycling pants that don't look like something from the ballet or the > circus. [RBW] Creaky Brooks 17 Saddle
I have a Brooks B17 (my first Brooks) with 2000 miles on my AHH, and it makes a creaking noise when I shift on the saddle or make any up and down motion. I've tightened the tension bolt in the past, and did so again recently. It's not sagging or feeling too soft, and I'm worried I might over tighten it. Any suggestions? Thanks! - Scott --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. Well, at least now I know what I'm doing on the day after Thanksgiving, instead of going shopping. - Scott On Nov 25, 7:39 pm, RM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I had creakiness in a couple of my B-17s also. [RBW] Just how do you pronounce BOMBADIL?
I know this is silly, but it's been bugging the heck out of me lately and I can't find an answer on Google. Do you stress the first syllable or the last? Is is BOMB-ba-dil or bomb-ba-DIL? And is the DIL pronounced like "dill" as in dill pickles, or is it like "deal"? - Scott --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. You can bomb down a HILL on your Bombadil, or you can appreciate the frame of STEEL on your Bombadil. [RBW] Re: FS: Thule Tandem carrier
Michael, Assuming it will mount to my Volvo (Thule) load bars, I am interested. My Volvo (Thule) load bars mount to the factory luggage rails on the car. I'm curious why you're selling it? Also, will you ship to a military APO address? Cost should be the same as CONUS shipping, you just have to fill out a customs form. If the cost is more, I'd be willing to pay the difference. Thanks.
