Question about goldwave, CD reader.

2011-03-14 Thread Mark Meusborn
Howdy,

I just got Goldwave, and I am still learning how to use it. I tried to rip a
CD, using the Goldwave CD reader. When I hit enter on the "menu item" CD
reader, my computer made a very strange noise, and then restarted. I tried it
several times with the same result. I am pretty new at this computer stuff,
but I really don't think it is an operator problem. I hope someone can help.

Hi, Mark and List,

Just to be sure we're on the same page, go to tools by pressing alt-that. Then
select cd Reader and press "enter."

If this isn't the problem, I have to guess that your copy of the program is
corrupted. Get another copy and uninstall the current copy before installing
the new download.

I rip cds occasionally and have no difficulty.

Leaving the List

2011-03-14 Thread Steve Pattison
Hi all,

I thoroughly enjoy the information on this list but I have decided to
unsubscribe. The main reason is I'm suffering from a self-inflicted
information overload (smile). There's so much information I'd like to
read about and simply not enough time to read it all. I'll still be
posting announcements about software updates etc to Twitter and people
are welcome to follow me on Twitter if they like. My Twitter username is
in my signature below. I'd like to thank all those people who have
provided me with help and other useful information over the long time
I've been on this list. If you want to respond to this message please
make sure you send responses to my email address as I'm subscribing
immediately. Goodbye for now.
