Steve . get a codec pack. I installed the free K-Lite Mega Codec Pack on my computer and I can play just about anything with WMP 10. I haven't tested with .aif files but I think it will work. Go to a secure software site like http://www.download.com and do a search for codec. when i try and add a song in playlist editor in winamp, it prompts me for the file name even though the file is playing thru winamp and windows explorer. Hello. All you should have to do is shift tab to the folder where you can find the place where you have the song and enter on the song and it will put it in the playlist. Kind of like windows explorer. You don't have to type in the filename. Trouble Launching Live365 Player
Good evening. For the past three or four months I have been unable to launch the Live365 player unless I hold down the control key. This works fine at home but does not work on my laptop at the office. I run Windows XP on both machines and use JAWS 9 at the office and Jaws 11 at home. It would appear there is a tool bar or something that may be behaving like a popup blocker but there is nothing obvious in the programs list. MSIE 7 popup blocker is turned off so I know it isn't the cause of the problem. using the jump command and cuing files
Hey all. Hopefully this will be helpful to some of you. The jump command in winamp is quite powerful. I mean you can't kill anyone with it but it's still pretty cool. If you've ever tabbed around the jump dialog box you'll notice the different buttons. Basically here is a brief how-to. Jump is essentially a search command inside your current playlist in winamp. It is the best and quickest way to find things in a The jump dialog box is basically a search box inside your current playlist in winamp. You can type in the edit box any string like artist, title, or combination. Or just a word! After that you will find your results in the list box. Note, there's no ok or search button.
