Re: MLB Game Day Audio
hi, if you go to the scoreboard link near the top of the page, you can access the archives for each game from there. i only use the mlb.tv feed, so no idea about the game day feed, there is a link labelled "audio" on each game though. i guess the major difference now is they offer mlb.tv streams. guess they figure if your really serious about quality, you'll pay the $80 season subscription for the tv feed at 350KBPS. Re: MLB Game Day Audio
If you had sight you could skip all that. I was doing that last year and probably could have done it this year had I not accidentally switched my player preference to the wrong player. They are only supporting Windows Media this year, but you can play the streams in Realplayer. If you didn't do what I did in spring training(switch to the Windows Media player), you could switch the stream to the external Replayer and therefore had much better control of it. Now, can anyone figure out how to change the dates, because I think I just wasted $14.95 or whatever it was. - Original Message - From: "doc" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Update on the MLB Gameday Audio archives, it isn't good.
Hi. I just got off the phone with MLB.COM's customer service, and tried to explain to them the problem of accessing the archives of prior days' games. RE: A T & T Rockbox sound files.
G'day, >From what I understand because of licensing related issues the AT&T voice files cannot be made publically available from the RB site. Nor are these files allowed to be distributed either if you produce the content your self. Well as I said that is my understanding which is based on postings to the RB mail list a few months back. I'm afraid that most folks are not going to be able to produce their own voice files. The documentation indicates that some knowledge of programming is needed for this. Well, the flagship blacks it out on any stream they may run that isn't mlb. An archive would always be not available until the game ends, if you want the game live, you use the live option. For the Bucks basketball, I think the freely available stream blacks out just before the national anthem. I suppose when they start blacking out their free stream is a bit up to them. - Original Message - From: "dennis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: MLB Game Day Audio
If the tv anouncers described the games even 3 quarters as good as the radio anouncers, I'd probably think about it. - Original Message - From: "kevin and emma" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: Recommendations for MP3 CD player
You could try to get a Sony D-NE320 or D-NE319. If you want something with a radio, the D-NE420 would be a good choice. Sony will replace the 319 and 320 with the 330. I read that the 330 has quite small buttons, so the older modells may be better. <*** Michael Lang ***> You wrote: > Hi. > Can anyone recommend an MP3 CD player. Hi Although Kevin didn't mention the subject of accessibility, are any of these models blind user friendly? from having worked in a control room many times, I'm sure they start recording when it's convent so they won't forget to start the recording. I suppose it could be automated, but I doubt it. - Original Message - From: "DOC" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: MLB Game Day Audio
I know David Lawrence said that his archives are done almost completely on an automated basis, uploaded at the end of each hour. I doubt if they are that close to on time if commercials are removed. Back when I used to subscribe to some of his for awhile, the ads were still in. - Original Message - From: "Chuck Adkins" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: Recommendations for MP3 CD player
Well the Sonys I mentioned are relatively blind user friendly, because they have buttons with which one can jump from folder to folder. One could buy a DAISY player, but with the Victor Wave for instance, one cannot locate specific folders on MP3 cds. This is only possible with the bigger DAISY players. <*** Michael Lang ***> You wrote: > Hi > Although Kevin didn't mention the subject of accessibility, are any of > these models blind user friendly? > Rocking sushi > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On Behalf Of Michael Lang > Sent: Wednesday, April 05, 2006 6:43 PM > To: PC audio discussion list. > Subject: Re: Recommendations for MP3 CD player > You could try to get a Sony D-NE320 or D-NE319.
