Hello Jim, On Wednesday, January 11, 2006, 8:13:36 AM, you bellowed the following: > I am losing computer speech when I run Reaper on the same card is > JAWS. Anyone else having the same problem? I haven't tried reaper yet, though I intend to. Is Reaper trying to open your card as asio? goldwave 5.12 question
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi folks. I have GoldWave 5.12 and have noticed that when saving a sound in either mp3 or ogg the computer's resources are used a lot. This seems to be more than older versions of GoldWave. I went from using 5.06 to 5.12 and am not really pleased without how GoldWave takes up a lot of extra time and resources when saving mp3 or ogg files. Could this be a GoldWave problem or an encoder problem since GoldWave uses .dll extra files to do the actual encoding? I have 1.00 Gb of ram on my system and it's never really been a problem before so this is why it's striking me as odd. - -- Style may not be the answer, but at least it's a workable alternative. follow up to premier DVM creation problem
Well, I got the disk written, even though it sounds like you are writing a CD. It seems to have done the job. Also, I still don't see a way to do a straight copy of an audio CD, (a commercial one, I mean). I have purchased the program since I can use it to copy, but I would like to see some changes in the next upgrade. I wrote to them almost a week ago with no answer. There are lots of errors in the text in the program which should be fixed, and I really think it should do a straight copy of an audio CD as Nero does, but the program seems to do its job which is all I ask of any program. Anyway, even though it sounds like you are making a CD, it does ultimately write the DVD.
