I've been contacting an old colleague of mine CJONES, about giving me 
permissions for a new module, but he has not logged into PAUSE in a long time 
and now no longer has access to his previous email address.

As he's upgraded his career and is now brewing full time...

I would like to request that you change his email address to the one CC'ed and 
pass primary permissions to me, VLYON.

Transfer of PRIMARY maint of CJONES modules

Dear PAUSE admins,

More than two years ago I requested PRIMARY maint on all of CJONES modules. 
Chris (CJONES) confirmed via email between myself and Neil Bowers that he was 
more than happy for me to take over the maintenance of those modules. Chris has 
moved on and now runs a brewery and is no longer involved with Perl development 
in any way.

Neil asked that I modify some of Chris' modules before he would provide access. 
I've made the requested changes, but am unable to release them without the 
needed permissions. While I have been happy to jump through all the hoops 
requested of me, I have still not received access and now I get no response 
from Neil anymore.

This all started due to a module I wanted to release that conflicted with a 
first-come package name used in one of Chris' modules.

Almost three years later and I'm still trying.

What should I try next?

An upgrade indeed!

I’ve updated his PAUSE account, and emailed him. I also asked if he’d like me 
to grant co-maints on his behalf.

You mentioned the “plate” module. Is this Chris’s LIMS-MT_Plate distribution?

Apologies for the delay on this – originally it seemed like you wanted co-maint 
on some of the modules, and I was worried you were going to leave us with a 
situation where some modules would be in one distribution, and others would be

There are a few per module first-come perms still missing, but I'll try to 
release on the weekend and see if it works.
I have a feeling though, that it'll fail as changes are needed to Microarray, 
and some perms are missing like TRL::Microarray* and a few others.

But I'll give it a go, and let you know.

Hi,
I've been trying to get hold of the author (WROG: Roger Crew) for some changes 
to fix a bug in this module.Attempts to contact him over 2 months has 
failed.Other bug reports with patches have similarly been ignored, so perhaps 
he's no longer involved in maintaining this very useful module.
I'd like to release a new version of this module (or get one of the co-maints 
to do it) that fixes a fairly simple
