Assigning co-maint on Dancer::Session::Cookie
Dear fellow PAUSE Admins, I'm interested in taking over co-maint of Dancer::Session::Cookie. It was originally written as part of SUKRIA's Dancer and then spun out into a separate CPAN distribution. KAPPA got the 'first-come' rights, but SUKRIA has been doing maintenance for a while (and then stopped to focus on Dancer 2). KAPPA has not responded to requests and SUKRIA is supportive of offering co-maint to me given his lack of round tuits. Since I don't use my PAUSE admin rights on my own behalf (at least without peer review), could someone please add me as co-maint or at least state formally that you have no objections to me making the change on my own. Module submission Freecell::App
The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Freecell::App DSLIP: Snpf2 description: The main loop for the freecell-solver script userid: SHIRHA (Shirl Hart) chapterid: 23 (Miscellaneous_Modules) communities: similar: none rationale: The freecell-solver script calls Freecell::App and Freecell::Tableau to solve a FreeCell game by number. It uses a breadth-first algorithm with an A* heuristic to trim the 'seen' position hash to prevent out-of-memory conditions. I wrote it because freecellgamesolutions.com would only let you look at 3 solutions a day and then cut you off! With an option of --maxnodes 25000, some solutions are actually better than that website. This script works better on a 64 bit distribution of Perl because a 32 bit version can only safely use the default of --maxnodes 2000 and not run out of memory. enteredby: SHIRHA (Shirl Hart) enteredon: Fri Jan 18 19:01:59 2013 GMT The resulting entry would be: Freecell:: ::App Snpf2 The main loop for the freecell-solver script SHIRHA Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=3690_ca332526f8aaaf6f&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=3690_ca332526f8aaaf6f&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1 Peek at the current permissions: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?pause99_peek_perms_by=me&pause99_peek_perms_query=Freecell%3A%3AApp

Module submission SQL::Abstract::Complete
The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: SQL::Abstract::Complete DSLIP: Rdphp description: Generate complete SQL from Perl data userid: GRYPHON (Gryphon Shafer) chapterid: 7 (Database_Interfaces) communities: similar: SQL::Abstract rationale: This module was inspired by the excellent SQL::Abstract, from which in inherits. However, in trying to use the module, I found that what I really wanted to do was generate complete SELECT statements including joins and group by clauses. So, I set out to create a more complete abstract SQL generation module. (SQL::Abstract has to keep it's first $table argument inflexible for backwards compatibility reasons.) This module only changes the select() method and adds a small new wrinkle to new(). Everything else from SQL::Abstract is inherited as-is. enteredby: GRYPHON (Gryphon Shafer) enteredon: Fri Jan 18 22:05:33 2013 GMT The resulting entry would be: SQL::Abstract:: ::CompleteRdphp Generate complete SQL from Perl data GRYPHON Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=4690_115b13e97c05a409&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=4690_115b13e97c05a409&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1 Peek at the current permissions: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?pause99_peek_perms_by=me&pause99_peek_perms_query=SQL%3A%3AAbstract%3A%3AComplete
Module submission DBI::Query
The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: DBI::Query DSLIP: bdpOp description: Simplified abstracted chained DBI subclass userid: GRYPHON (Gryphon Shafer) chapterid: 7 (Database_Interfaces) communities: similar: DBI DBI::Simple rationale: DBI::Query is a pure subclass of DBI that permits the use of simplified, abstracted, chained database querying. The idea being that you can use an interface similar to jQuery but drop into the DBI superclass's methods at any time. There are methods like get() that let you specify queries in SQL::Abstract-like ways and sql() that let you specify queries in SQL. In both cases, DBI::Query auto-builds in the other half. DBI::Query also provides an interface to the data returned from the query, allowing for simplified, abstracted, chained data interaction. $dbh->sql('SELECT stuff FROM things WHERE value > ?')->run(42)->each( sub { ... } ); my $sth = $dbh->get( 'things', ['stuff'], { 'value' => 42 } )->run(); my $stuff = $sth->fetchrow_array(); my $db = $dbh->sql('SELECT id, stuff FROM things'); $db->run(42)->next()->cell('stuff')->value(1138)->save_by('id'); Allison Randal is helping me with the interface, and chromatic is writing test coverage. It's being used in a production system at the moment, but is probably better to be listed as "beta" for the time being while we improve test coverage and error reporting. enteredby: GRYPHON (Gryphon Shafer) enteredon: Fri Jan 18 22:42:29 2013 GMT The resulting entry would be: DBI:: ::Query bdpOp Simplified abstracted chained DBI subclass GRYPHON Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=5690_f5c24243157e22c9&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=5690_f5c24243157e22c9&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1 Peek at the current permissions: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?pause99_peek_perms_by=me&pause99_peek_perms_query=DBI%3A%3AQuery
