Re: [MlMt] Unable to delete message
Unfortunately Exchange server is known to have rather flakey IMAP implementation. At some point it was rumoured that MS would drop IMAP altogether but seems they have since relented. Maybe you can get to those via OWA ? -alexT On 14 Oct 2021, at 13:58, Eric Sharakan wrote: Same here. [MlMt] alert sounds
I'm running MailMate v5820 under High Sierra, and even though I have disabled "Play sound for notification" under System Preferences > Notifications > MailMate, my system BINGs every time a message arrives. (As well as presenting the banner alert I do want.) I have been completely unable to figure out where this sound is coming from, so that I can turn it off. Any ideas? Please? Re: [MlMt] How can I create a Smart Mailbox with all emails I have sent?

By default, MM has a "Sent Messages" mailbox which aggregates the mailboxes in all accounts which are marked as "Sent" type. It should do what you want. If you've somehow deleted it, you can recreate it by adding a smart mailbox which covers those source mailboxes and has no conditions or rules. I have tried a condition like `“From -> Address“ contains ““`: But with this the Smart Mailbox contains spam which pretends to be sent from my address as well. If for some reason you don't have "Sent" source mailboxes and really need to find messages you have sent in source mailboxes that also have mail you didn't send, the condition "Received" "Does Not Exist" should do the trick. Note that this will skip copies of your own messages sent back to you by mailing lists like this one. Is there a mail header which says „_This message was really sent from this particular SMTP server_“ or similar? If a reliable header like that existed, the character of the Internet would be unrecognizable. -- Bill Cole b...@scconsult.com or billc...@apache.org (AKA @grumpybozo and many *@billmail.scconsult.com addresses) Not Currently Available For Hire ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

Re: [MlMt] version 8 of Todoist broke links to emails
Just FYI - Benny updated the Todoist bundle fixing the problem I reported. On 8 Oct 2021, at 16:15, Robert Brenstein wrote: Personally, I don’t think that MM’s bundle is at fault. It worked fine until I upgraded Todoist and I haven’t changed anything on MM side. I give another shout to Todoist’s support having this more technical info. Maybe I can finally get the issue escalated. On the other hand, the string that you quote as given to Todoist has those extra 25’s. If so, how was it working until now? Robert On 7 Oct 2021, at 18:20, Benny Kjær Nielsen wrote: On 7 Oct 2021, at 9:31, Robert Brenstein wrote: Right. The question is who does the escaping and whether it is specific to my setup or it is a general problem. That's a good question. I'm pretty sure it's a general problem, but I haven't tried myself yet. This is part of the string given to Todoist: message://%253c5a5a03cc-fc01-4ed2-a3c4-61971ec37...@uni-potsdam.de%253e That is a URL encoded version of the string that MailMate would like to get into Todoist which is this: message://%3c5a5a03cc-fc01-4ed2-a3c4-61971ec37...@uni-potsdam.de%3e This should, when it's decoded (by Apple Mail or MailMate) result in this Message-ID: <5a5a03cc-fc01-4ed2-a3c4-61971ec37...@uni-potsdam.de> So, why is the string given to Todoist double-encoded. Well, that's because it's given as a URL string itself in the `content` argument as (kind of) documented by Todoist [here](https://developer.todoist.com/guides/#views). So, I don't *think* the Todoist bundle (MailMate) is to blame. But we needs things to work so if they insist then I'll have to look into a workaround. -- Benny https://freron.com/become_a_mailmate_patron/ ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
