Re: [MlMt] Ignore or fix Runbox marking email as spam

Ron,

You might want to take a look at Runbox's filtering options - see
https://help.runbox.com/filter/

I use Runbox too and generally find their spam-filtering pretty good. You can
'train' it to your specific needs using their webmail interface. I don't think
Mailmate has any direct influence on what gets marked (or not) as spam by
Runbox.

Re: [MlMt] Newline rendering in plaintext messages

Yes, I believe this was done to let “Prefer Plain Text” users also
have the benefit of unwrapping.

This strikes me as a bug, since the documentation of
`MmAutomaticUnwrapEnabled` states that it is used “to unwrap the
plain text body part before creating the reply.” I.e., it seems to
me that this option should affect the quoted contents in the composer,
but not how a message is displayed in the message viewer.

Yes, it should perhaps be separate features (I'll look into that), but
the unwrapping itself could probably also be smarter with respect to
when to or not to do it. (And, in general, a system is still missing for
enabling/disabling “transformations” applied when displaying or
replying to messages.)

yes - it is checked with email adress, but i never get the question to
send a crash report ...

It'll only ask once if the setting has not been configured. After that,
it happens automatically.

With respect to hanging then additional details can be sent using
“Help ▸ Send Feedback”. In particular, Activity Monitor, or the
following Terminal command can be used to generate a sample file:

sample MailMate 10 | ~/Desktop/sample_mailmate.txt

when i should do this? after when it crashed and hang?

While it hangs. If it crashes then I can review the crash reports
instead.

Re: [MlMt] Feature Request: View Folder / Source In Mail Header

what i do:

What you see is the column settings for the “All Messages” mailbox.
If you alter the columns of this mailbox then it should stick when you
do searches (disregarding general bugs in the saving/restoring of
mailbox related state often mentioned on this list).

what i expect:

- i see an additional line in the header part of the current mail with
the folder / source

I'll note that as a feature request.

Re: [MlMt] Automatic set from email depending on "to email"

2019-04-15 Thread Benny Kjær Nielsen

Hi,

just for the record, given an example email I fixed/changed some things
which should make this work properly (better parsing of Received headers
and the X-Envelope-To header).

To debug this I need an email you have received from the list and I
need to know your “Email Address(es)” setting for the related
account. You can use “Help ▸ Send Feedback” to send it
(drag'n'drop the example email).
