yes - it is checked with email adress, but i never get the question to send a crash report ...

It'll only ask once if the setting has not been configured. After that, it happens automatically.

With respect to hanging then additional details can be sent using “Help ▸ Send Feedback”. In particular, Activity Monitor, or the following Terminal command can be used to generate a sample file:

    sample MailMate 10 | ~/Desktop/sample_mailmate.txt

when i should do this? after when it crashed and hang?

While it hangs. If it crashes then I can review the crash reports instead.
