I did figure this out. Put the VO cursor on the address you want to add Move mouse cursor to VO cursor cntl+otion+cmd+f5 click mouse shift+cntl+option+spacebar This brings up a menu and add to address is an option. Hi all, I just now got an Apple TV. I have installed the remote app on my phone but cannot figure out how to control the TV. I have indeed set up home sharing and can see the TV. There is no need to interact with the table. Just use keys J and K to move thru the tweets when VO is focused on the table. Key L will open a link if it is in the tweet. Is there a way in VO on Mac to label buttons and such? I bought a new all-in-one printer and the scanning software has many unlabeled buttons. I transitioned from a Blackjack II running mobile speak to the IPhone last September. VO is far superior to either mobile speak or Talx. You can do so much more so much easier. I am sorry was not clear. I know how to navigate when in the the HTML content. I need to know how to get to theat place quickly so I can navigate in the content. I have navigagted to the store and done a search for some music. Hi, I am trying to use Pages to create an outline for a class I am teaching in the fall. When I start creating the outline the levels of the outline are not spoken by VO. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if the DVD player is not accessible. I cannot get VO to read the titles or chapters. accessible DVD player software
Hi all, I received some DVDs as a gift recently. These have more than one episode on a disk. I am looking for some software that will read the title and chapters so I can jump to whatever episode I want to watch. Maybe I am missing some setting in the Apple Dvd player software as I can't get VO to read the titles. That was one persons oppinion. I just turned on track commander, don't usually have it on, and went to LaunchPad. I was able to move around with my finger finding the app I wanted to launch and then double tab. It worked just fine. It does not work if trackpad commander is turned on. You would have to set up a gesture to do it. Let's be very clear here. I am not speaking of turning off the trackpad but rather the VO trackpad commander. The three finger piinch with thumb is not a VO command but an OS one. Wow did they every mess this one up. I am not even sure how to describe what takes place. If you change your display to show grade 2 braille then you can indeed input using that. However all input is translated into grade 2. For example, you type the letter n and it becomes not. Another example, you type mike and it becomes moreiknowledgeever. capitalization in mail
Hi all, For some mails, not all, when reading them as a word is capitalized the letter is spoken and then the rest of the word. Is there a setting I am missing that will allow the entire word to be spoken? As stated above this only occurs for certain mails. AFter playing with this for a while, my oppinion is that it needs some work, or just perhaps more power in the cloud. I can scan a document and wait and wait and wait for it. I believe, could be mistaken, that the input of grade braille is not a function of the display but of the operating system. Hi all, I am using Elements on my IPhone to write files in my dropbox account. However, when I update a file in the elements folder from my Mac the contents of the update aren't appearing on my IPhone. The date of the file is being updated but not the contents. Hi, As I am typing this response on my Mac Air, it has been three months since I took the plunge and bought it. I am a committed Jaws user since the early days. I use Jaws at work exclusively. I find the navigation of Safari somewhat less than that of Jaws. However, with time I have come to navigate web sites quicker and with more confidence.
