finding other sources for GarageBand loops and importing them into GarageBand
Hello Everyone, Been playing with GarageBand over the past few months, and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I am interested in obtaining more loops/samples for GarageBand. Recently I tried a program that had lots of loops in it, but the application was not VoiceOver accessible. Any help with accessible apps, or info on obtaining loops and samples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. GarageBand expansion packs

If it has, then I could have saved a bit of money, instead of buying separate jam packs for GarageBand. Oh well, still happy with the packs I have. Thanks for any info regarding this. php tutorials for the blind
> > Hi all, I completed HTML and CSS a few months ago. Both were fun and interesting. I really enjoyed those classes a lot. I was curious if anyone uses PHP along with HTML, or javascript for developing web sites and server side applications? I have looked at a number of tutorials on PHP, but am having a rather tricky time of getting it down. I have no programming experience, but would like to learn it, as it sounds interesting. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, in advance. Have a good one, all. Jess -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. Cannot get MacBook Pro out of recovery mode, and that may be the least of my problems ...
Hi all, Accidentally got MacBook Pro into safe mode. Then I was able to put it into recovery mode, but it will not boot up from either the cd or the hard drive partition where the recovery disk is. I have run the verify disk and verify disk permissions. It's odd, because the message that comes back is that everything is ok, but something is definitely wrong. After not being able to start up from either the dvd or partition, a repair disk permissions and repair disk was run. I have thought about reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling everything. But that would be a last resort option, as I have a lot of music and GarageBand stuff on the Mac. Oddly enough, I was going to backup everything, but this mess happened before the backup could take place. :( Any help with thiss issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Cannot get MacBook Pro out of recover mode ...
> Hi Georgina, Whoa, Linux? Never played around with that, but maybe will give it a go sometime. I have heard lots of good things about it. What I ended up doing was creating a copy of everything on an external hard drive, and then reinstalled Leopard on the Mac. Currently Mountain Lion is downloading, and if the migration assistant works, I will use that to reload everything back onto the Mac. Never had to do this before, and it was kind of scary. A friend helped out, as I did not know where to start. For some reason the DVD drive was not reading the disk, and that's why I installed OsX on the external hard drive. The computer is about 3.5 years old, running 10.8.2. There does not seem to be any hardware issues regarding this matter, except for getting the computer into safe mode, and putting it into recovery mode, after that. Have a good one. GarageBand help with recording more than one track with software instruments
> Hi All, Recording one track goes well, but when adding another track, somehow the first track ends up being accidentally recorded over. I hit new track, and give it a name. Then I go into the browser and pick an instrument. Then go over to the layout area and interact with the tracks. Find the one to work on, and stop interacting with the tracks. i must be leaving out a step or not doing something correctly, because the same thing keeps happening, with the previous track being recorded over. Need an Accessible HTML Editor ...
Hi Kevin, and others, TextEdit is a free application and works fine for writing code. I have not been using it that long for this purpose, only about a little over a month. i have also heard of some people using a program called Smultron. There are different versions of this program, depending on which operating system you are using. (Lion, Mountain Lion, or Snow Leopard, and it is available in the App Store for $5. Prices may have changed since I bought it.( Hope this info is helpful. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. Hi List, Been looking into maybe starting an online radio station over the last few days. This process is just in the very beginning stages, well, research, and that is it, for now. I am not sure if anything will come of the idea, but i thought it sounded pretty cool. Has anyone tried the Rogue Amoeba software, or other types of Mac software for this purpose? How did it work for you, if you've used such a thing? Curious to know what your experiences have been like.
