Recommendations new MacBook Air m2
Hi all, I’m considering getting a new Mac in the back to school sale. Could you please advise me on specs? I am probably a light user. It is the VoiceOver not responding message that is driving me crazy! Lol! Even simple Safari searches get the not responding. I get it in music as well. So, some Mac uses I do: surfing (ie searches), music app, rs games app, mail, pdfs. That sort of thing. Thank you for your feedback. I don’t want to buy something less than my needs, neither do I want to buy something far more robust than I need. Looking for Goldilox here. *Grins Traci -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. gMail filters rules
Is it better to create rules and filters on gMail’s site, or create them in the Mac Mail app. My original MacVisionaries and ViPhone filters, I created on gMail’s site. Re: Recommendations new MacBook Air m2
You probably only need 8 GB of RAM. If you have a lot of files I think it’s better to go with 512 GB of space at least — I tried 256 GB once and I ran out so quickly and kept having to delete stuff. I prefer SSD over hard drives. Nothing else should matter all that much. > On Aug 27, 2023, at 5:02 PM, Traci Duncan wrote: > > Hi all, I’m considering getting a new Mac in the back to school sale. Re: gMail filters rules
Gmail This way they will work in anything you use to access Mail. > On Aug 27, 2023, at 16:04, Traci Duncan wrote: > > Is it better to create rules and filters on gMail’s site, or create them in > the Mac Mail app. My original MacVisionaries and ViPhone filters, I created > on gMail’s site. > > Thank you, > Traci > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries > list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your Mac Visionaries list moderator is Mark Taylor. What's the quickest way to move a row up or down to new position in Numbers on Mac
So sorry for a stupid question. I’m wanting to know how to cut a row, move to a new location and paste that row. I tried dragging and dropping. While this probably worked, it left a space where the original location had been. I also realize I can alphabetize by first column. But before I do that, I’d like to know if there’s a way to essentially cut a row and then move to a new location and paste that cut row below the row I’m on. The usual Cut in the Edit Menu delets text within a cell. I don’t want to delete the row because I don’t want to lose it. If Delete places the row on the clipboard, that could work. But that outcome isn’t clear from what I can see. Any help greatly appreciated and again, sorry for a dumb question.
