Team,

There is a difference between VPN and hiding your IP address. Unblocks is a

server and this is all you have to do. It is about $5.00 per month USA. This is
how I gain access to information on the net that blocks my IP address due to

VPN’s will encrypt your traffic from your PC to the VPN server. Then it will
route the traffic unencrypted to the destination site if it is not on the VPN.

So be careful on what you want to achieve. If you want to just gain access to
content from TV providers and the like. Unblocks is the way to go.

Re: vpn service

2015-03-22 Thread Rajiv Shah
Sean,However, there are drawbacks and plusses of VPNs vs. DNS services. The
UnBlock.US service you speak of, for example, must support the site from which
you wish to stream. For example, if they do not have knowledge of an Indian
site for TV streaming, then you will not be able to stream content. On the
other hand, VPNs may be far more complicated to set up and you must start the
VPN conection before accessing the content. I just wanted to point out the
advantage and disadvantage of either connection.Kind regards,Rajiv

If I remember how this works correctly, and forgive me. It's been a while
since I first downloaded the software, I think that you need to sign up before
given access to the download link. Have you done this yet? Trust me if not.
It's well worth it! I along with about 5 of my other blind friends, both
Windows, and Mac users use it, and we all swear by it! Trust me, I'd not steer
ya wrong. And, yes. They definitely do have a trial. I want to say it's 7
days, if I'm not mistaking. So, if you don't like it, no big deal. If nothing
else, no promises, but I might still have the dmg lying around. Just know
however if I do, you'll still have to sign up so that you can log the software
into your account.

iPhone 6 vs 6 Plus (was: Upgrade from iPhone 5 to iPhone6?)

2015-03-22 Thread Alex Hall
The internals are identical--processor, NFC, wifi, LTE, bluetooth, Touch ID,
all that. The main differences are the battery, screen size, and the inclusion
of image stabilization in the 6 Plus. The 6 has that, but it's all software;
the Plus has hardware to do the stabilizing, which people say makes it better
for photos.

Numbers: choosing predicates for filters

2015-03-22 Thread Jürgen Fleger
Hello,

on my MacBook in latest Numbers under Yosemite I'm able to select an item from
the predicate list in the sort and filter inspector only by clicking with VO +
Shift + Space. Enter or VO + Space doesn't work. Do you experience the same?

Also, the filter do work if I use just the arrow keys to navigate through the
table. Using VO + arrow keys brings me to all other rows which are actually
filtered. Do you experience this as well?

 All the best
Jürgen

RE: Upgrade from iPhone 5 to iPhone6?

2015-03-22 Thread dooie13
Hi Lisette,

I am not searching for protective screen covers; I am after plastic templates
that have little cut out boxes, that ly directly over the screen function
keys/buttons. My provlem is that I have short pudgy finger tips, which tend to
touch 2 of the screen buttons instead of only 1 of those buttuns. Those are the
type of templates I desire for an IPhone 6.

Any information about, providers & price would be appreciated.

Hi there,
For the person wanting the screen protector with dots for the iPhones, they are
made by speeddots.com and are sold by them and lots of other vendors.
They have two models: a standard and an advanced. The www.speeddots.com website
is the one I've always used, and explains everything very clearly.
Good luck.

don't use Numbers, but I suggest this is exactly the kind of issue you should
report to accessibil...@apple.com. If they don't hear about it, they won't
know there's an issue to be addressed.

Re: getcloak vpn

2015-03-22 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

If you’re using dictation to handle these messages, when you say “period”,
“comma”, “Question mark” etc, the dictation feature will actually place that
punctuation mark into your dictated text, not the word. So, I could say, “Could
someone help me with this please question mark” and the dictation feature would
place the proper text into the message followed by the Question mark
punctuation character.

If this is the reason for lack of punctuation in your messages, hopefully this
helps. Even as an English as first language user, no punctuation is often
difficult to follow.

Re: Numbers: choosing predicates for filters

2015-03-22 Thread Phil Halton
That’s how it is supposed to work, with the arrow keys alone navigating only
the items selected by the filter you apply, and VO arrow keys navigating all
table items regardless of filters.
As far as the predicate question, VO shift click is the mouse click combo, so
I wonder if you have “mouse follows VoiceOver cursor” set in the VO
utilities/navigation pane. That doesn’t explain why plain old VO spacebar won’t
do the job, and enter alone often doesn’t work in many dialogs. Can’t help
really with this Q, but the Arrow keys thing is definitely acting as it should.
