Re: Feature Request: iCloud Syncing of VoiceOver Preferences

2013-10-31 Thread Chris H
Unless I am misunderstanding I can't see this going to work. VoiceOver
uses different voices on both iOS and Mac. So if they are going to
implement this on the mac then it will have to work across macs only.
VoiceOver settings are already synced to iCloud as part of documents and
data. In my experience when restoring my iPhone 4s from an iCloud backup
made on the iPhone 4, all my VoiceOver settings came across except for
the voice, but that's a different matter altogether.

VoiceOver preferences across all their devices.

Currently, for Mac, there is the portable preferences feature. Though no doubt
a good idea at the time, this is now a little out dated and clunky, requiring a
user to carry around a USB flash drive to plug into each mac, it also seems to
have troubles syncing preferences in multiple directions, at least in my
experience. I've also tried exporting my VoiceOver preferences to a third party

doesn't seem to export or import my pronunciation and keyboard commander

iCloud seems like the perfect solution for this problem. It could offer
seamless syncing of VoiceOver preferences across multiple Apple devices,
without needing to carry around the same portable flash drive. It could offer
syncing between Macs, between iOS devices and even between Macs and iOS devices
so far as the same preferences were applicable.

I hope you consider this for a future update to VoiceOver and both iOS and OS X.

Thank you for all your great work.

Kind regards,
Nic

Hello Andrew,

I’ve just been editing a fairly long RTF document with TextEdit, and it works
fine as long as it is set to Wrap to Window. In TextEdit, press Cmd-Shift-w to
switch between Wrap to Page and Wrap to Window.

Cheers,

I can tell you my answer right now. Voiceover doesn’t need to be like Jaws or

that wouldn’t solve anything. The apps that have been inaccessible will remain

Re: Feature Request: iCloud Syncing of VoiceOver Preferences

2013-10-31 Thread BBS
Ok, Chris and Mario, let’s be logical here. That idea will not work. But let’s
play devil’s advocate for a minute. Let’s say that it did work. Let’s say that
syncing Voiceover preferences to all Apple devices worked. That would mean that
every voice from the Mac would have to be installed on the iPhone or whatever
I-device the person has. And since the current I-devices right now don’t have
big enough hard drives to hold all those voices, Apple would have to create
brand new I-devices that are capable of storing those big voices. Now think
about it for a second. Would you want to pay big bucks for an I-device, the
same amount maybe that we paid for our Macs, just so you can sync all your
Voiceover preferences that are on your Macs to those devices. I don’t think so.
So it isn’t pheasable to have such a feature.

Re: Feature Request: iCloud Syncing of VoiceOver Preferences

2013-10-31 Thread mario navarro

the updates of the voices are very small files.
but could be considered only for mac.
this feature could be just for mac.
for mac what is the mac, and ios what is ios.
cheers.

Dear Apple Accessibility Team,

With such deep integration of iCloud with so many aspects of iOS and OS X, it's
surprising that VoiceOver has so far been left out. Many VoiceOver users own
multiple Apple devices, and would benefit greatly from being able to sync
VoiceOver preferences across all their devices.

Currently, for Mac, there is the portable preferences feature. Though no doubt
a good idea at the time, this is now a little out dated and clunky, requiring a
user to carry around a USB flash drive to plug into each mac, it also seems to
have troubles syncing preferences in multiple directions, at least in my
experience. I've also tried exporting my VoiceOver preferences to a third party
syncing service (Dropbox), but this also does not seem to work smoothly. It
doesn't seem to export or import my pronunciation and keyboard commander
preferences, for example.

iCloud seems like the perfect solution for this problem.

Kind regards,
Nic

Re: request. automatic updates. voice over feature.

2013-10-31 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

The issue with automatic updates to VoiceOver has been skirted around here but
not clearly enough in my opinion. VoiceOver is not just a bolted on app to the
MacOS, it is a part of the OS itself. While you could update specific code
within the screenreader service, the majority of fixes actually are within the
coding of the system itself. That is, the way that either the OS handles a
process or the method by which Apple or third party apps handle system
resources often cause the problems we have with the VO interface. The use of
custom elements within apps is outside the scope and of VO updates but, when,
addressed affect VO accessibility. So, what I’m saying, is that I don’t
believe that updates to VO can necessarily be easily separated from OS updates
other than through “Supplemental” sorts of things.

More frequent updates to VoiceOver would be good. However, the main
accessibility issues we have are not problems with VoiceOver, but
typically problems in other apps. It's those apps that need to be updated
to improve accessibility, not VoiceOver. For instance, in Mountain Lion
it's iBooks, Pages, Mail, Calendar and Finder which need updates, not
VoiceOver. Well, there are a couple of issues with some of the voices
messing some things up, but that's a different issue as it's Nuance that
 needs to address those issues.
Having said all this, Mario, I'd be happy to write the email for you if
you like, and then you can send it from your own email account. I'll wait
and hear what other people on this list have to say first, however, as
it's probably wise to take on board other feedback.

Would this be different from right-clicking on a library item, choosing “add to
playlist” and selecting your device? I do that a lot.

Re: add a copy to device menu in iTunes

2013-10-31 Thread Ray Foret Jr
I have an even better suggestion. Why not be able to select files directly in
finder and, provided your Mac sees your IDevice is connected, an extra item
appears in the short cut menu that says “copy directly to IDevice or something
like that. Thing about that is, you’d need to make real sure your meta data
taggint was correct though.

Hi,

The issue with automatic updates to VoiceOver has been skirted around
here but not clearly enough in my opinion. VoiceOver is not just a
bolted on app to the MacOS, it is a part of the OS itself. While you
could update specific code within the screenreader service, the
majority of fixes actually are within the coding of the system itself.
That is, the way that either the OS handles a process or the method
by which Apple or third party apps handle system resources often cause
the problems we have with the VO interface. The use of custom
elements within apps is outside the scope and of VO updates but, when,
addressed affect VO accessibility. So, what I’m saying, is that I
don’t believe that updates to VO can necessarily be easily separated
from OS updates other than through “Supplemental” sorts of things.

I can tell you my answer right now. Voiceover doesn’t need to be
like Jaws or Window-Eyes updating all the time. Even if Voiceover
were updated constantly, that wouldn’t solve anything. The apps that
have been inaccessible will remain inaccessible until the app
developers fix those issues themselves. And as far as Voiceover
having bugs in the app, hate to say this, but you’ve pretty much
said your problem yourself, that the apps are the problem and not
Voiceover. So no, Voiceover doesn’t need automatic updates. We don’t
need to go through the same hell we go through with Windows screen

More frequent updates to VoiceOver would be good. However, the
main accessibility issues we have are not problems with VoiceOver,
but typically problems in other apps. It's those apps that need to
be updated to improve accessibility, not VoiceOver. For instance,
in Mountain Lion it's iBooks, Pages, Mail, Calendar and Finder
which need updates, not VoiceOver. Well, there are a couple of
issues with some of the voices messing some things up, but that's
a different issue as it's Nuance that needs to address those issues.
Having said all this, Mario, I'd be happy to write the email for

You can also do it with iTunes. My wife does it this way. It was easier
for her as she already knew her way around and didn't have to learn
another app. She just sucks in all the tracks, grabs everything from
recently imported, makes a playlist from them and burns that playlist.
Yes, I'm sure its easier in something else but don't discount familiarity.

Re: App to copy CDs on mac

2013-10-31 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

I agree Chris. If one is simply making music CDs, then iTunes works
excellently and you don’t require anything further. The added bonus is that
your music is likely already in iTunes anyway so that makes it even more
convenient. If you are hoping to burn more than just music CDs, then a
different alternative is necessary. I don’t believe that distinction was made
in the original post.

iPod Nano 6th gen syncing

2013-10-31 Thread Sarai Bucciarelli
Hi guys:
I have a iPod Nano, Macbook Pro running ML and the latest versions of iTunes.
I can no longer copy and paste songs to my Nano. I have manually manage music
checked, sync selected playlists and music checked, disk mode checked, and side
bar enabled. I can copy music to clipboard, move to iPod, check music, interact
with the table of existing songs on iPod. When I try to paste, nothing happens.
Help!

Re: Fantastical for Mac

2013-10-31 Thread Christina C.
OK, I have this app. I believe getting to the calendar view is very tricky. I
will try to look at it. I do not use the app for that. I only use it to add
calendar events. I can’t explain why but I just much prefer Fantastical for
this. If I remember correctly, the calendar view pops up when the mouse hovers
over something. I will ask my son to look at it with me and get back to you
soon. :)

Re: Fantastical for Mac

2013-10-31 Thread Christina C.
Hi Nick,

OK, I found it. It does not pop up after hovering the mouse. That was something
different. I can explain that later if need be but for now. Here is the
calendar. When you are in the app, the very first item you will here right
before the edit box to add a new event says “dim calendar”. Just interact with
that. then VO arrow around. I have noticed some behavior changes with Maverick.
I keep having to access the application chooser to access Fantastical, and I
never had to do this before. It’s like VO keeps loosing focus on Fantastical.

Let me know if I can help further :)

Re: iPod Nano 6th gen syncing

2013-10-31 Thread Teresa Cochran
The only way I have found to work around this is to bring up the contextual
menu with either VO-shift-M (or control-numpad 5 if you have mouse keys
enabled) and choose add to playlist, then choose your device. I don’t know why
it doesn’t always copy, but this happens to me as well.

Survey

2013-10-31 Thread Cheree Heppe
Has anyone noticed that a change in the way Voice Over relays the caps on/caps
off state has changed? Prior to OIS7, pressing the caps lock key resulted in
VO saying caps lock on or caps lock off with an IOS device such as an Iphone.
Currently, the response is uninformatively the same: caps lock off. This
response prevents a blind person from determining whether the letters being
typed into the message are capitalized or not. Not very pretty.

On the same theme, HHS (Health and Human Services) commissioned a web design
survey relating to how blind consumers prefer their web design. The Survey
Monkey survey shows an HHS person with email contact at the start of the
survey. However, after completing this survey, there is no way to look at the
intro material and copy or obtain the email. A survey participant would have
to know in advance that the survey would not permit returning to previously
accessed pages and write down or link to access the email before proceeding
with the survey.

The survey asks at the end about the participants' visual accuity. Either I am
very much missing something while using my Iphone, but, the checkbox available
is only for low vision. A survey participant must check this box in order to
proceed. I did not locate any checkbox indicating no vision, totally blind or
the like. It would be a shame if that little detail got left out of a survey
to measure blind user preferences with web design.

Anybody else take this survey? I would be curious about the missing checkbox.
If it is me, well, that's my problem. It the survey is set up to not select
for totally blind members of the population, that would seem to represent a
bias.

Cheree Heppe

I want to know if I can save the backups on my external drive that

 Dear Apple Accessibility Team,

With such deep integration of iCloud with so many aspects of iOS and OS X,
it's surprising that VoiceOver has so far been left out. Many VoiceOver
users own multiple Apple devices, and would benefit greatly from being
able to sync VoiceOver preferences across all their devices.

Currently, for Mac, there is the portable preferences feature. Though no
doubt a good idea at the time, this is now a little out dated and clunky,
requiring a user to carry around a USB flash drive to plug into each mac,
it also seems to have troubles syncing preferences in multiple directions,
at least in my experience. I've also tried exporting my VoiceOver
preferences to a third party syncing service (Dropbox), but this also does
not seem to work smoothly. It doesn't seem to export or import my
pronunciation and keyboard commander preferences, for example.

iCloud seems like the perfect solution for this problem. It could offer
seamless syncing of VoiceOver preferences across multiple Apple devices,
without needing to carry around the same portable flash drive. It could
offer syncing between Macs, between iOS devices and even between Macs and
iOS devices so far as the same preferences were applicable.

I hope you consider this for a future update to VoiceOver and both iOS and
 OS X.

Thank you for all your great work.

 Kind regards,
 Nic

Dear Anne,

You are a genius! Checking the option to wrap text to page in both TextEdit and
iText in the preferences seems to have done the trick! Hooray! Nothing is
broken. It shows how important it is to ask the list first before one sends off
a report to Apple accessibility. I'm so glad to have both the applications back
and working.

Thank you! I hope it will do the same for Daniella.

Re: iPod Nano 6th gen syncing

2013-10-31 Thread Teresa Cochran
Hi. I’m sorry for the confusion. The menu choice you want is “add to playlist”.
the reason you want to choose this is that your device itself will show up as a
single playlist. I’ve been able to select a number of songs and choose “add to
playlist” submenu, then choose my device, and they all show up in the music
folder.

Re: fantastical 2 is an app I like more than apple calendar

2013-10-31 Thread Danny Noonan
Go to Settings help and the last option is to contact them.

I quite like the date ticker only being the date as it suits it's function
IMO. Also when date ticker is in focus a 3 finger swipe left or right moves by
3 days. To add to that when the events section, ie events and reminders, roter
on headings will move day by day and 3 finger swipe up or down will scroll
larger amounts although I've found this a tad buggy as focus jumps back to my
start point at times. I'll tap and hold on the month heading and jump straight
to the date or nearbye it and then use the date ticker or headings in events to
check round the date I want.

Sorry if this is obvious to some. I've only played with the app for 40 minutes
and with no mention of VoiceOver anywhere I had to reinvent the wheel a bit.
It's a different beast to apples calendar app. Smile.

Anyway to get mail to follow rules in IOS

2013-10-31 Thread Brian Fischler
Hey all,

I am sure I am not the only one experiencing this. I use a Mac at home still
running Mt. Lion, yes no reason for me to upgrade with all the gmail nightmares
I have heard about. Anyway I have rules set up for this list and other lists I
am on on my desktop and laptop to send all these messages to another mailbox
and not my inbox. Unfortunately for some reason on my iPhone these messages
don't obey the rules which when I am not at home has become a real pain as they
go to my main inbox. Has anyone figured out a way to get the list messages to
obey the same rules on your iPhone? If everything is being synched through
iCloud you would think they would follow the rules you have set up in mammal.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Anyway to get mail to follow rules in IOS

Hi,

if your using gmail, and your using IMAP, you need to go to the gmail site and
set up the rules, which they call filters, and folders, which they call labels
on the gmail site. then, the changes will be reflected across all your
devices. You set up a rule on the Mac, it only affect messages on your Mac.

Re: BusyMac Response to BusyCal Accessibility Request

2013-10-31 Thread Emilio
Hello Nicholas and others,

Not too surprising that the developers of BusyCal have not yet
"investigated" the voiceover incompatibility issue.
I looked through my e-mail and found the Message I received from Jon on
February 19, 2013, which is as follows:

"Hi Emilio,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to the wish list, but it will be a
while before we have time to investigate this. We don't know anything about
Voice Over and are surprised and pleased to learn that our menu bar app
supports it.

iTunes. I can no longer copy and paste songs to my Nano. I have manually
manage music checked, sync selected playlists and music checked, disk mode
checked, and side bar enabled. I can copy music to clipboard, move to
iPod, check music, interact with the table of existing songs on iPod. When
I try to paste, nothing happens. Help!

getting mac to see other pc's on my home network

2013-10-31 Thread don bishop
Hi,
I have at&t UVerse as my provider and using the router they provide. The imac
connects to it just fine and writing this on it now. However, I also have 2
windows pc’s on the network. They can “see” each other just fine, but I can’t
get the mac to see them. I don’t see anything on the imac in network settings
which I should change, but I’m still rather new with the mac so might be
missing something.
Also looked at the sharing options on the imac and believe they’re set
correctly.

Btw, using Mavericks here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

Re: Anyway to get mail to follow rules in IOS

2013-10-31 Thread Teresa Cochran
Yes, you’d have to delete the rules on your Mac. Also, when you set the rules
up, there is a checkbox that says “skip inbox”. Make sure you find that and
check it, or else you’ll get a copy there.

HtH,
teresa

Slow down; you'll get there faster.

Downloading Mavericks

2013-10-31 Thread The Smiths
Hi

I am currently downloading OSX Mavericks v 10.9. It keeps saying downloading
and tells me I am on a button that is dimmed. It has been nearly 2 hours. Is
this the usual time?

How do I found out how far I am through the downloading process, is there a
progress indicator I can find? I can't find any indication of progress.

Also, not related totally to mavericks, re downloading from the app store, I
was under the impression, from the documentation, that an icon of the app
that is downloaded, goes to the dock. This does not seem to be happening for
me. I can manually add to the dock from the application file. Any ideas
please would be appreciated.

Kind Regards
Janine

Re: Downloading Mavericks

2013-10-31 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

Press cmd-4 while in the App Store to bring up your Purchase History. You can
then Interact with the Purchases Table and navigate to the Mavericks row to
check its progress. It all depends on your network connection and how busy
Apple’s servers are for how fast it will download. Note, though, that
Mavericks is about 5.29 GB so it could take a while.

capslock in Fusion 6 under Mavericks

2013-10-31 Thread Scott Erichsen
Hi all,

I upgraded to Mavericks and at the same time purchased VMWare Fusion 6.

I installed windows 7 32bit with JAWS 15 and have KeyRemapForMacbook and
PCKeyboardHack.

Both are the latest versions.

I've set up the capslock key so that it now acts as a voiceover key on the
mac which is what it's supposed to do, but when I go into fusion it is not
acting like the insert key for JAWS.

I've set my keyboard layout in JAWS for laptop.

Is there anything I need to do specifically in windows or Fusion or JAWS to
make it work correctly?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Scott

Cool! I didn’t know about swiping the day ticker left or right. Did you get the

I think you might have to go into system preferences/sharing, select file

Re: Downloading Mavericks

The time reporting isn’t always accurate, and there will be fluctuations, that
have to do with your machine processing the download, as well as fluctuations
in your connection (all connections fluctuate. I’d plan on at around 5 hours,
as it could take up to that.

RE: Downloading Mavericks

2013-10-31 Thread The Smiths
Just to report back. It's finished downloading and probably took about 3
hours. Once it hit about 60% it showed a time of 20 minutes left but that
soon reduced to about 12 minutes. Many thanks for all the help.

Yes. I guess that I'm spoiled. I've downloaded it twice now, once at home
and once for work computers and in both cases it took about 45 to 50
minutes. Internet speed is a big factor.

Hi,

Press cmd-4 while in the App Store to bring up your Purchase History. You
can then Interact with the Purchases Table and navigate to the Mavericks row
to check its progress. It all depends on your network connection and how
busy Apple's servers are for how fast it will download. Note, though, that
Mavericks is about 5.29 GB so it could take a while.

This does not seem to be happening for

update on syncing iPod Nano with iTunes

2013-10-31 Thread Sarai Bucciarelli
Ok guys,
I might have found a work around. It is a pain though.
Make sure your side bar under view is not hidden. Interact with the sources
table, arrow down to iPod nano, and vo backslash to expand the iPod. Stop
interacting, and vo right once. Interact, choose the music radio button. VO to
the right. When you hear scroll area, interact and VO right. go past
automatically fill free space check box. You'll see about 4 tables. VO right
until you see albums and interact. You will see a list of all albums on your
iTunes library. VO down arrow to move through the list. VO space on the check
boxes by each album to check them. Once down, stop interacting, move back to
iPod in sources, vo shift m. You will hear you've changed the settings. Choose
apply.
This has worked twice, so we will see.
Hope this helps someone else.

iCloud Keychain and Password Generation in Mavericks

2013-10-31 Thread Orin
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to do this in Safari on Mavericks? It’s enabled on both my
phone and the Mac, but I’m curious how to do it on the Mac.
I looked it up and I don’t see the “popover” that Mac sites are saying will
come up in the password field and if it does come up, I don’t know how to make
VoiceOver see it.
Thanks.

Update on my computer

2013-10-31 Thread Eugenia Firth
Hi guys
For those of you who have just gotten your Macs, let me tell you that I am
about to take advantage of a big reason why I switched from Windows. You may
remember that I had big problems with my update to Mavericks, and that I had a
still open case with Apple. The gentleman I am working with contacted some of
his colleagues, and they basically want some documentation from my computer,
after we spend a good part of Saturday upgrading again (after backing up first)
and turning in the logs (whatever those are) to Apple. They can't figure out
why my computer said I had a Braille Edge 11 since there isn't one supposed to
be on the braille display list. In fact, the computer actually said 011. Maybe
I can then do again what I did before, which was take the Braille Edge 40 off
while under Mavericks and see if VoiceOver says Braille Edge 011 again. If
things get messed up again, we will maybe need to put my computer back into
Mountain Lion, until Apple figures it out. I'll let y'all know what happens. I
didn't have this much trouble going to Mountain Lion.

Regards,
Gigi

adding to doc in 10.9

2013-10-31 Thread Ray Foret Jr
Okay,

I guess this was covered before, but, I assumed that it was the same in 10.9 as
in 10.8. How does one add to the doc in 10.9? Doesn’t seem to be possible.

Re: Feature Request: iCloud Syncing of VoiceOver Preferences

2013-10-31 Thread Nicholas Parsons
1. It seems to me the voices on iOS 7 are the same as on OS X 10.9. At least,
certain new bugs in the Karen voice on iOS 7 have also appeared in the Karen
voice in Mavericks.
2. If the voices are not the same, the settings other than the voices could be
synced. E.g. speed, punctuation, etcetera.
3. This doesn't have to synchronise Macs with iOS devices. It could just be for
syncing Macs with Macs, and iOS devices with iOS devices.
4. Yes, iCloud currently backs up VoiceOver preferences, but it doesn't sync
them between devices. The fact that VO preferences are backed up to iCloud only
makes this more possible. When I add a new keyboard commander setting on one
Mac, for instance, the same should appear on my other Mac next time it connects
to the internet.

Re: Fantastical for Mac

2013-10-31 Thread Christina C.
I honestly do not find many features I can use on the mac version of
Fantastical. It’s very tricky. Plus, you can navigate around the month view of
the calendar but VO won’t announce if you have any events on that day. Well, it
does not on my computer. I mainly purchased the app because I just found it so
easy to enter an event. That is the only thing I use it for.

Good Luck,

Help please, I can't open attachments in mail after Mavericks download

2013-10-31 Thread Sharon Ballantyne
Hi All,

I am probably missing something really simple but I have no idea how to open
attachments in Mavericks update using regular apple mail.

I used to use quick look attachments and open the file now I can’t seem to get
any attachment into focus.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I am also noticing my voice over voice periodically fading and coming back up.
I haven’t experienced these changes before Mavericks, which incidentally took
nearly nine hours to complete the download. It is like it has the hiccups.

Lastly, what are people recommending as the word processor of choice on the Mac?

Thank-you very much.

Sharon

Help please! I can't open attachments after mavericks download using apple mail

2013-10-31 Thread Helena Fehr
Hi! I usually save my attachments, and then I can open them whenever I want.
Saving them works the same way it did before on Mountain Lion. I've never
opened them in the email itself though. You might want to see if that works.
Just make sure you know where you saved the attachments, or you won't be able
to find them to open them.
God Bless!!!

Re: Feature Request: iCloud Syncing of VoiceOver Preferences

2013-10-31 Thread Alex Hall
I agree with this suggestion. Crossing iOS and Mac would be difficult, but
sticking to one or the other and syncing across all devices on one platform
makes perfect sense. I’d love to be able to sign in and have all my VO settings
come across, at least as many as are possible. Some just won’t work, such as
commanders for files a computer does not have, but most should sync just fine.

Regarding VoiceOver not announcing the day of the week in month view: How
about contacting the developer on this issue? That should be something the
developer could easily address and I agree it would be a really useful
 feature for VoiceOver users.

Just while we're on the topic of calendars, I also downloaded the trial
version of BusyCal for Mac. It has fantastic features, but unfortunately
the actual calendar part of the application seems completely invisible to
VoiceOver. It also seems to make VoiceOver really sluggish. I will contact
the developer though and hopefully might be able to work something out.

What Safari Extensions Do You Find Useful with Voiceover

2013-10-31 Thread Brian Fischler
Hey all,

I never have made a lot of use of extensions in safari, as I found awhile back
that a lot of them had some difficulties with voiceover and made the web
browsing experience a little clutter some. I wanted to see if anyone had any
extensions they thought added to the voiceover safari browsing experience. If
you do post away. Thanks,

Re: Help please, I can't open attachments in mail after Mavericks download

2013-10-31 Thread Lisette Wesseling
Hi,
You can do quick look (command y) when just focusing on the message in your
inbox. You don’t need to open the message first, just put your cursor on it and
do command y.

Hope that helps.

Hey Ricardo,

Of course I went to gmail in safari and go figure I open the rotor and tried to
find labels and filters and neither comes up when using the web rotor to
navigate links. How do you set these up in gmail when gmail still seems to be
very inaccessible on the web? Thanks,

Re: add a copy to device menu in iTunes

2013-10-31 Thread Dean Adams
Hi Nicolas ,
If you are manually managing your music the only way to get music onto
your Idevice is to copy and paste it from your music library I have over 250 gb
of music so automatically syncing all music is not an option . I do not use
playlists .
Any suggestion is well worth considering if it makes life easier.

Just export your current settings from the old airport extreme, and import
them to the new time capsule. It works like a charm and 100 percent voice

any pointers or advice on how to set it up? Our wireless network is
