[libreoffice-l10n] Translation "Print Preview" wrong displayed in Italian Interface

2015-02-12 Thread Valter Mura

Hi All

The string "Print Preview" is wrong displayed in the Italian UI, both in the
menu and the relative button, even if it is correctly translated in Pootle:

*wrong* result: Stampa Anteprima

(should be) *correct* result: Anteprima di stampa

BTW, in the 4.3 version the translation is correct

A search in OpenGrok shows only one occurrence of "Stampa anteprima", not
involving the error above.

I opened a bug for this matter, in order to understand what happened: 89334

[libreoffice-l10n] No translation in a packet inside OpenGrok

2015-02-12 Thread Valter Mura

Hi All

during a search inside OpenGrok, I found this packet with no
translation. Is it normal?

The search:
http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/s?n=25&start=25&q=%22Print+Preview%22&sort=relevancy&project=translations,

The result:
http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/translations/source/it/sw/source/uibase/uiview.po

This file isn´t the only one. All files from /sw/source/uibase/ are empty.

Asking Cloph on irc, he said
cloph: opengrok indexes master, so yes, it is expected that it doesn't
reflect the 4-4 branch.
I was not aware of that, so searching here the last translations is not
the good way.

Cheers
Sophie

[libreoffice-l10n] Searching for string in the last branch

2015-02-12 Thread Sophie
Hi all,

I open a new thread, so you can bookmark the link easily :)
To search for your last translation, there is a mirror on GitHub where
the interface is easier than Gerrit:
https://github.com/LibreOffice/translations/tree/libreoffice-4-4-1/source/

Thanks to Cloph :
Cheers

I don't understand this.
I can go to here

https://github.com/LibreOffice/translations/tree/libreoffice-4-4-1/source/nl
but if I then click on a link in the middle column after sc

https://github.com/LibreOffice/translations/commit/03885753ab69e3a883fa8c9d2bd658bffc728d3b
I see translations in a for me unknown writing..

Cheers,
Cor

this is the diff of the commit, click on the directory like here
https://github.com/LibreOffice/translations/blob/libreoffice-4-4-1/source/nl/sc/source/ui/drawfunc.po
and you'll have the .po files instead or I didn't understand what you
were searching for? (might be possible :)

[libreoffice-l10n] Re: [libreoffice-marketing] Fw: 14 February 2015 - I love Free Software Day

2015-02-12 Thread Tom Davies
Hi :)
I think this is a nice idea. Most people on these mailing list
already do quite a lot of work and are under-appreciated. It would be
nice to see this idea formally extended to cover all the non-devs who
do fantastic work in 'User' / Client Support, Documentation,
Translation.

I think that is the intention but (as just about always) we once again
get ignored and undervalued when it comes to direct comments and
mentions. So i think just see all the thanks as being at least partly
directed at each of you too! You all do a fantastic job, even the
lurkers on these lists are often doing a lot outside of the mailing
lists.

On the plus side i guess we do get thanks from individuals probably
more often than devs do and we are not always dealing with grumbles so
maybe this sort of thing is meant to help redress that imbalance ;)

Many thanks to everyone for helping make LibreOffice what it is today.
Fantastic job! :
Many thanks and regards from
Tom :)

I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just trying what I might
find there. But indeed following the directory icons lead to Dutch-only
and not a diff with (apparently) mixed languages. Thanks for explaning.
