[libreoffice-l10n] Can someone explain https://translations.documentfoundation.org/de/libo_help/translate.html#filter=incomplete&unit=45962232, please?
Hello @ll, If you go to https://translations.documentfoundation.org/de/libo_help/translate.html#filter=incomplete&unit=45962232, then the text reads If two adjacent text ranges' all border properties are identical (same style, width, color, padding and shadow), then those two ranges will be considered to be part of the same border group and rendered within the same border in the document. If two adjacent text ranges share a border, all border properties are identical (same style, width, color, padding and shadow). Those two ranges will be considered to be part of the same border group and rendered within the same border in the document. ? I seem to understand, what this text wants to tell the well- disposed reader / translator, but ... It sounds a little bit strange to me ... ;) Or am I completely wrong here with my version of the text? If I am, it would be nice, if someone can explain it for me, as I want to translate as precise as possible ... ;) Sorry for the inconvenience Thomas. -- The world has many unintentionally cruel mechanisms that are not designed for people who walk on their hands. -- John Irving, "The World According to Garp" -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: l10n+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/l10n/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[libreoffice-l10n] Help button in the new start center
Hi, I pressed the Help button in the new start center and Slovenian version took me not to the built-in help system but to internet, to https://sl.libreoffice.org/ (the opening page of localized website, where there is hardly any help for a user for using the start center or LO for that matter). Why would Help button lead to Internet, if the build has built-in help (the localized pack on OS X is installed and help via menu opens help system). Before I enter a bug - do other languages see that as well? I think this button has a wrong label, in fact, the Help menu leads you to the help (but there is currently a bug on it) and this help button leads you to the site. So the action is not wrong, but the label of the button is. Thank you to whoever fixed whatever caused it. Another question: are the totals on my personal page https://translations.documentfoundation.org/accounts/donaldo/ supposed to agree with the total submissions on this page https://translations.documentfoundation.org/eo/libo_ui/ ? The difference is about 1600. Neither total seems to have increased much even after translating about 8000 words for version 4.2. Are "submissions" counted as strings rather than words? Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Help button in the new start center
OK, I filed two bugs: on OS X 10.9 420b2 Help menu command links to wiki help instead to installed help: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72419 and the button opens website instead of help https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72420 Please confirm for other languages, systems.
