KX-T: TVS 50 and KX-TD308 problem

2007-08-07 Thread Dennis
Hello,

I have had a TVS50 with KX-TD308 running for a few years with no problem. In
the past week the autoattendant always says that one of the extensions is
unavailable. The other extensions work as normal, and they all have COS 1

Don't know if the cleaning crew scrambled one of the buttons or what, but
DND is not on.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dennis

KX-T: 125 Voice Mail

2007-08-07 Thread DIALTONE1
KX-TD1232-1 system with a TVS 125 Voice Mail...I must be missing something
simple. It is DIL in night to VM, The port is set to zero for delayed
answer. The line goes steady immediately, but the VM won't answer for 2
rings.
Customer doesn't want any delay. Any suggestions

Thanks

Kenny

It is waiting for the hard drive to "wake up"it goes to sleep after a
time of no use.

After the first call it handles, subsequent calls should be answered more
quicklyuntil it goes to sleep again. I don't know if this feature can be
defeated through programming.

2007-08-07 Thread Donald R. Resor
I know that with my TVS200 running v4.56 it will go to sleep 15
minutes after the set time for 'closing hours' which in my case is
10:00PM. It wakes up at midnight for about 15 minutes, shuts down
the HD then starts up again at3:00am for 15 minutes then shuts off if
it receives no calls. As far as I know during the set business hours
the Hard Drive it powered on during those hours. You might also
check the Caller ID function of the TVS as it needs 1.5 rings to get
the information. If you do not need caller ID turn the feature off.

Check "call Blocking" "feature " in mailbox parameters. May have been
mistakenly set by the mailbox user.
