I had tested 3300 ft distance from KSU with KX-T7430 digital phone I tap external power supply to this phone set, so far there is no any trouble, want to know the secret just e-mail me directly. I have never used it, though I know that more than likely you will have to have your incoming lines specially engendered to provide battery reversal on called party answer. As far as I know no telco provides this as a "default" function any more.
