Public bug reported: If I remember correctly the touchpad was already not responding when booting into Ubuntu from USB stick. I followed the guidline https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection#generalinfo. Unfortunately, I have not found the manufacturer of the touchpad. In the cat /proc/bus/input/devices > ~/devices output I could not find any 'touchpad' entry. Output file 'devices' is attached. In the UEFI there is no "Touchpad" entry. I think it should be in the "Main" section, right? I tried the other menus as well, but there is none. Hello Po-Hsu, unfortunately, none of it helped for the touchpad. However my speakers seem to work now :-) (maybe this was also a system update, I do not know).
