This behaviour is undesirable because user must close Spectacle window on each reboot. Autostart does not contain Spectacle. This has happened since KDE Plasma 5.19 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Reboot KDE Plasma. OBSERVED RESULT System boots to desktop with screenshot of KDE bootscreen. EXPECTED RESULT System boots to regular desktop. The process "spectacle" will still be running. - Use following setting in "Startup and Shutdown" -> "Desktop Session": "When Logging in" : Restore previous session - Reboot. Rebooting will restart the Spectacle process from your previous session and cause a screenshot to be captured during the boot screen.
