Never finished the story, happiness there is a Krusader, so it is possible to
start this file manager in root mode with sudo. Sometimes a great program
Dolphin is nothing now. Discover the same hour works or doesn't work or need an
eternity to load update. Every update of the plasme happens, I am interfering,
I have the impression that something changes and there is no purpose. I
advertised on the forum Thermal Monitor KJI works in all other Linuxima and
only the update plasms from 5.21 to 5.22 it was raiding, Instal Xysguard does
not help me. Developers are more and more like Windows developers, they know
what we need and think of us and protect us from ourselves.

You need to install the plasmoid-widget and set in panel. the widget requires
an lm-sensors that is set in the sudo sensor-detect terminal and hddmp for
disks. Ksysguar programs don't have that in them. Ever since this widget became
an integral part of the installation it has not been working

If I remember correctly, this is a Dolphin file manager. I read big players
plan to leave support for Plasma and KDE. In Kali update program plasma product
dont work, synaptic work. I am no longer interested in constantly updating and
constantly adding actions that I do not need, every new version uploads 200-300
files initially, and this is repeated all the time on verzion x,x 01 to x. x.5
.
After that a new plsma version, new round of the same

We didn't understand each other, when I listed the number of files I meant Neon
Plasma (not testing), every update with e.g. 5.16.5 to 5.17.0 is a minumum of>
200 files to update, following an update that will release 5.17.1 again at
least> 200 files. This goes into the cycle to 5.17.5 and then leaps to the new
version 5.18.0. Does anyone keep a gun on their developers that they have to
throw out an update that they repair afterwards? As for Kali he is an RR
distribution and there is an understandable number of files to update. All of
this reminds me of some of the medicines I have been drinking for over 10 years
and have now been withdrawn from sale because they cause cancer, the 10 years
it took finds out that dolphin is not ok, what is the purpose of such a file
manager in relation to other file managers?

I am a retired person, but I have spent my entire life leading a large computer
center and at the end of my career leading and modernizing the municipal
administration. All that linux and win I had was on the mainframe many years
ago.
Now purely from the hobby I use linux, with me every plasma linux can be rooted
in GUI mode. I did not intervene in the code, but I do. Neon user edition,
Manjaro, Calculate (gentoo with installer, without systemd), Kali RR and log in
wit gui and work in GUI environment. I have the first three listed distros on
ex4 and on the btfrs file system. It is devastating that someone is forcing the
btrfs file system, and just because they say it for free, we realized that it
was wrong. We are not in kindergarten so we develop toys, I do not want to play
with something that is not for play, for these reasons I have cited an example
of a drug that now, after so many years, is found to cause cancer, a cure for
the stomach that I have used all the time . While I used windows a little, I
never had as many problems with as many re-installations as in linux. I need
linux to do the same thing as windows and not to study and look for glitches
that someone makes in a strong desire to prove something and I don't know what
they want.

2019-08-05 Thread lega99
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410353

My music collection is on the NTFS partition. The program indexes and never
stops, I tried what you suggest, but there are no results. Of the approximately
11000 (1TB) music files, the program manages to index a maximum of 1800 files.
Clemetine thoroughly finds and indexes all the files, I also tried Lollypop and
it works correctly. Elisa relies on baloo and in 2 hours fails to find the
files. I've tried multiple distributions just doesn't work right. I gave up
more than unsuccessful attempts to use the program. I have a lot of CDs,
originals, bought in Canada, prefered Narada production, the CD drive becomes
unreliable after 2-3 years of use and that's why I transferred the files from
the CD to disk in flac or mp3 format.

2019-08-22 Thread lega99

Finally the program finds the music files, a baloo update has arrived. The
program does not detect .cue + .flac files. I must to make a .flac music file
with the flac program and only then does the elisa recognize the music file.
For me, the program is a huge disappointment, the program can serve children to
listen to mp3 files. For me, the program is a big disappointment, I wanted to
have a tidy collection of music, but it's impossible. I don't understand that
no one knows how to make a player like windows foobar2000 that knows all
possible music formats e.g. iso.wv format

This is not a solution to the problem. How much do I know logging as a root is
allowed only in the terminal in many distributions. This is the only solution
for Kali. Why should I use this solution and adjust my distribution to work in
GUI mode as root. Simply more serious is the use of Krusederr, Nemo, Nautilus
program in normal user mode with sudo or kdesu. Continue writing tips do not
use GUI as a root user if enabled. I'm disappointed with this solution.

How to run Dolphin as root with command. I do not understand if I really need
to log in as a root in the GUI mode that distributions do not allow, except
Kali

I am shocked, file manager is not an editor, that´s all I can say. You
behaviour and replies are unacceptable, if you continue this way very soon your
programs will disappear, and Mint has already begun and abandoned KDE
distribution. KDE authors are Neon and Kubuntu, and that´s going so poorly that
Neon isn´t capable after all these months to make a switch to Ubuntu 18.04
which is its base.

Maybe maybe not exactly. Copy 18.18 Dophin, dolphin-plugin, kate kwrite from
Neon and paste to Kali application version 18.04. Dolphin, kate, kwrite work ok

Dolphin looks at the controversial situation

Dolphin double mounts the partition and writes a warning. This is happening in
Kubuntu and Manjaro KDE, plasma 5.12.2. All other linux file managers do not
have this problem. I tried downgrade Dolphin, but the same error appeared.
Plus the absurd situation, nonsense in Kali, Dolphin can not run in root mode
and it is placed as default file manager in Kali linux KDE

I read this infinite story in which some people assure us that we are all blind
and brainless. All other file managers work in root mode only Dolphin can and
should not. Hey, to make me blind and crazy and others who use and make such
file managers. I think that someone will not intentionally fix the program or
write it out from the beginning, it's easier to change a couple of lines of
code. It's a shame and great nonsense that in Kali KDE is used dolphin that
does not work in root mode.

Initramfs announces an error that prints a non-existent swap file. Debian
installer has an inconvenient installation option to always format the swap
file. In Kali KDE and Kubuntu 18.04 deeloper edition, if the swap file changes
UUID iniramfs not changes, an error occurs. It's irrelevant that there is a
hibernation option in the menu, this error always occurs. The old swap file
UUID was registered to /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume. The UUID swap file
in the fstab file is correct.

In Neon linux LTS and Neon user edition I have udisks2 2.1.7-1ubuntu1. The
problem is a bit more complex and I decided to switch off partition mounting in
the system setup. In the fstab file I only mount the ntfs partition via the
uuid number. With these settings Dolphin works ok mounting the linux partition
even though I turned it off in system setup. It is interesting that the Nemo
file manager has no problems, I tried in Neon Linux. In Calculate the linux
variants of Gentoo I have no udisks2, there is a same bug and it has the same
problem. Manjaro has the same problem and everything started with the new
plasma 5.12.x. The only version that works ok is in the system setup to turned
off mount partitions and mount in fstab ntfs partition.

As far as I see, you are persistently trying to replace the thesis and crushing
evidence. If Bo Weaver uses Kali that works in root mode, you are asking him to
create an ordinary user account and to do the job he needs to do as a root
user. It does not have any logic, I think you just need to say adio KDE and
plasma.

We are waiting for the 5.15.x, unfortunately I think it's a bad policy to gain
new Neon distribution users. Now you have not specified a deadline when you can
expect a new version.

I have cgcgtk3.knsrc, i have cgcicon.knsrc, cgctheme.knsrc, colorschemes.knsrc,
comic.knsrc. I did the rename cgcgtk3.knsrc and cgcicon.knsrc to the .old and

Nothing happened, I think these suggestions are just a noise in trying to

I would compile, but I do not know. I tried to compile the last corrected
correction but I failed. I worked in a way that Dr.Calsav Ilic showed me when I
successfully compiled a correction of the holidays in the Serbian calendar. Now
it can not be compiled in this way. A new plasma is coming out in 12 days, we
waited for the first updates, failed, we are waiting for a new plasma, says
Aldin in the cartoon: patience Siago

I am a retired but I remember when Kali Distribution users were begging to be
allowed to work with Dolphin as root, they were rejected, as we all know Kali
is based on Debian. Then Kali users got advice from Plasma developer to do it
themselves.

I does not want a political discussion, I have not written anything now, I
wrote about the past time. It was begged by people who work like pen testers
and not black hackers. I know well when it's enabled Dolphin to run in root
mode in Kali. I offered to compile, I wrote that I do not know, because the
method I worked with previously did not work. Debian users will have to stand
up and have Synaptic, apt, Appper, Muon while Debina does not get the correct
Discovery. Great respect for the deceased author Debian, it's the first
distribution I've ever heard of in my life. Otherwise, I managed the most
modern computer center in Europe with the then most modern mainframe machines
that did not work in Linux, after which I managed the IT department and
designed the information system of the municipal administration. All the best
and I wish you success :)

If I try to install libssl-dev it requires to destroy

and instead install this libssl1.1 (= 1.1.0h-2)
This can be a continuous game of dependent packages.

The problem of addiction is solved by the command sudo apt install -f. First of
all, copy all .deb files that have been locked on the net to a separate
directory, position themselves on the directory where the files are corrected,
type sudo dpkg -i plasma-discover *, the system will tell you that some files
are missing, type sudo apt install -f

I have nothing to test, update 3 files myself with pkcon update. While there
were 3 file updates, I started the program Discover, immediately appeared the
names of files and sizes in the Discover program. The number of files in the
notification was identical in the program. After that, I wait for 3 minutes for
sure, or even more, and there is no button that allows the update.

I use the Manjaro and there is no update yet. It's not clear to me why you use
Discoveri in Arch sistem when there is Octopi. I tried Discoveri from my
account and work ok. I have 2 of the same versions, one is new on Btrfs file

system seting no language

Update plasma to version 5.15.0 has deleted my localization into Serbian. Now I
installed in Manjar and the situation is identical, from the localization only
login screen remained, and everything else is in English. The system setup
field is empty and there are no languages available. This is the situation I
discovered today in the 2 versions of the Neona user edition, one version since
February this year, the second is the older update base Ubuntu 16.04 at
18.04LTS and now in Manjaro.

I do not understand why update in the Arch system with the discover when the
Octopi or Pacman program works. I use Octopi or Pacman in Manjaro.

Kubuntu 18.10 and 19.04 versions are transient and only exist for 9 months.
20.04 will be a new LTS version

Neon is the author of plasma and discover program and it would be logical to
have a program that works, but not so

I do not have libkf5newstuff I have libkf5newstuff-dev and it's not installed.
There are 4:4.14.38-0ubuntu3 libknewstuff2-4 and 4:4.14.38-0ubuntu3
libknewstuff3-4 and I assume by default that these are some old libraries.

I'm disappointed when somebody promises that the problem will be serious with
frameworks 5.40. Indirectly suggest that I'm not trying to compile with
updates. Everything is like a trial and everything will be okay just to reach
January 12th.

I did not see anyone writing about Microsoft. I do not understand what
Microsoft has to do with this problem. I do not understand how Microsoft is
currently blamed because the problem is not resolved. All that was requested
from the diagnostic and repair data was delivered.

Bug ID: 376576
Summary: Serbian Statehood Day [1] is a Serbian national

English translation wiki is not correct, the calendar
is not accurate.
   Product: kholidays

  Platform: Other

  Target Milestone: ---

Serbian Statehood Day [1] is a Serbian national holiday that celebrates the
15th and 16th Februar, English translation wiki is not correct, the calendar is
not accurate.

15. фебруар 1804. почео Први српски устанак;
15. фебруар 1835. донет Сретењски устав, први устав Србије, један од
најмодернијих, најдемократскијих и најлибералнијих устава свог доба. Њиме је у
Србији укинут феудализам и уједно је представљао најисточнији одблесак
Француске револуције.

since I don't know Serbian, I looked in the latin version of the Serbian
 holidays and found these:

"Dan državnosti" public on february 15

 I can change that to:

"Dan državnosti" public on february 15 length 2 days

what to do about the "neradni dan" which might happen on a Monday?

I've noticed that in the calendar for the 2017 it says that Orthodox Easter is
on 3rd of April 2017, but as far as I know both the Orthodox and the Catholic
Easter are on the same day which is 16th of April 2017. Additionally, Orthodox
Good Friday is supposedly on 1st of April - Saturday, and Orthodox Holy
Saturday is on 2nd of April - Sunday.

Armistice Day, which was on the 11th of November 2016, was not present in the
calendar at all, even though it is an official holiday in Serbia.

All KDE plasma5 distro have wrong holidays
