The project loaded fine, played back smoothly, and rendering started immediately. No issues whatsoever. In the video you shared showing the steps and the delayed rendering start and final crash, I noticed a few things: * The render goes to a drive F: Is this an external drive or a USB stick? * You changed the folder for project files to custom. Are you sure about that? And why did you do this? * You selected the .kdenlive project file in the render output file dialog and then removed the .kdenlive suffix. This is an odd way of selecting the output because by default Kdenlive uses the project filename as the output filename anyway. I suggest you try to shorten the filename drastically and try again. [plasmashell] [Bug 500157] New: Group indicator icon has lost its contrast
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=500157 Bug ID: 500157 Summary: Group indicator icon has lost its contrast Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.3.0 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager widgets Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: epictux...@proton.me CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Since https://invent.kde.org/plasma/libplasma/-/merge_requests/1214, accent colors follow the color scheme. Using Breeze Dark with dark tasbar, that would be blue... in a blue background (when app is selected). I believe that being green was actually a good idea because it gave more contrast to the fact that there are multiple windows of the same app open. Now that it follows the accent color the contrast is lost. (To clarify, the contrast is lost only when the selected app has multiple windows. But also not too good when not selected.) The screenshot from the MR examplifies this: Before - https://invent.kde.org/-/project/2485/uploads/73bfe7a4c52bbf84ffd1d080baea2967/before-breezedark.png After - https://invent.kde.org/-/project/2485/uploads/31ae7f2c5f1dd144027a0eeec322ca86/after-breezedark.png Notice in those screenshots that being green gave it more contrast, which the author of the MR even said: "[it] is pretty eye-catching" — which I believe was the intention behind it. I think that the change should be reverted and/or we should use some other color or add anything that can give more contrast (maybe an outline to the group indicator icon?). End session using "Anwendungsstarter" -> "Velassen" -> "Standby-Modus" to enter suspend-to-disk 3. Press button on docking station to wake up notebook from suspend-to-disk. OBSERVED RESULT 3. KDE IDE is shown as intended, but it is still showing "Anwendungsstarter". EXPECTED RESULT 3. KDE should restart without showing "Anwendungsstarter", as it is returning from suspend-to-disk and showing the "Verlassen" menu is no longer required as this step to go into status suspend-to-disk was completed. It is true that KDE is supposed to re-create last session after restart, but even so the "Verlassen" menu is not needed nor expected. [plasmashell] [Bug 482979] Plasma crashes when moving widgets with a transparent background to second screen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482979 --- Comment #5 from usethisfor...@gmail.com --- Created attachment 178415 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=178415&action=edit New crash information added by DrKonqi plasmashell (5.27.5) using Qt 5.15.8 When moving the "Digital Clock" widget (transparent background) from the secondary display, to the primary display (configuration is three monitors with primary in center, secondary to the left, and tertiary to the right of primary). The plan was to move and resize the widget so I dragged it over to the and it appeared properly on the primary display and I immediately went to resize the widget and during the resize, (so 1 click and hold on the bottom right corner, drag toward the bottom right corner of display) before I released the click/drag, the widget had disappeared and approximately 1-3 seconds later all displays went black for a moment, then returned with only the gui's of whatever I applications I had open (Konsole, and a system settings interface), followed by wallpapers and taskbar after (I assume) KDE restarted. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #4 0x7f68d7daa5d7 in QSGBatchRenderer::Renderer::renderMergedBatch(QSGBatchRenderer::Batch const*) () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Quick.so.5 #5 0x7f68d7dafc7b in QSGBatchRenderer::Renderer::renderBatches() () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Quick.so.5 #6 0x7f68d7db05b6 in QSGBatchRenderer::Renderer::render() () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Quick.so.5 #7 0x7f68d7d97f00 in QSGRenderer::renderScene(QSGBindable const&) () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Quick.so.5 #8 0x7f68d7d983b3 in QSGRenderer::renderScene(unsigned int) () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Quick.so.5 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 482979] Plasma crashes when moving widgets with a transparent background to second screen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482979 usethisfor...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|VERIFIED --- Comment #6 from usethisfor...@gmail.com --- Following up to my first report of this bug. It is not caused (in my case) by moving the widget to a different display in and of itself. The crash/bug was duplicated by resizing the same widget (transparent background) beyond a certain size immediately following the move to a different display. I am not sure whether the move is necessary or not, but the resize is. During the resize, the first line (the clock with a larger font size) disappeared first but the bottom line with smaller text did not. Continuing to drag the corner and increase the size caused both lines to disappear and provided the same results as my previous report. Hope this helps :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
