maka manfaat yang akan dia peroleh adalah sebagai berikut : (semua nilai ini 
telah otomatis dibuat dan ditampilkan dengan software "Prulink Assurance 
Account Plus ver 5.1.0, setiap orang manfaatnya berbeda-beda, ini hanya satu 
contoh kasus saja)

1. Nilai Tunai yang bisa diambil pada   usia 50 tahun (dimisalkan untuk 
pensiun) adalah sebesar Rp. 383.576.000,- maksimal atau Rp. 68.992.000,- 
minimal   (sisa premi 10 tahun dibayar oleh Prudential, anda tidak perlu bayar 
premi lanjutan) 
(besaran nilai tunai bergantung dari usia nasabah, bisa diambil setiap bulan 
atau untuk pendidikan anak, namun jumlahnya bukan sebesar yang diatas) 
(walaupun nasabah masih dalam keadaan sehat tidak kurang suatu apapun, Nilai 
Tunai bisa dicairkan, umur berapapun, inilah kelebihan ASURANSI PRUDENTIAL dan 
polis masih berjalan sampai tertanggung meninggal walau tanpa bayar premi 
lanjutan)

  
2. Jika meninggal dunia normal (beda dengan manfaat no.4) pada usia 50 tahun 
mendapat (selain manfaat dari No.1) 
Santunan meninggal dunia  Rp.  583.576.000,-  maksimal atau Rp. 
268.992.000,- minimal (sisa premi 10 tahun dibayar oleh Prudential, anda tidak 
perlu bayar premi  lanjutan)
(besaran santunan bergantung dari usia nasabah)  

3. Jika terjadi sesuatu pada usia 37 tahun misalnya sakit jantung akan mendapat 
(tidak tergantung usia nasabah, uang langsung bisa cair jika terjadi hal 
tersebut) 
Santunan karena penyakit Jantung (termasuk 34 PENYAKIT KRITIS)  
  Rp. 100.000.000,- CASH (akan ditransfer ke rekening bank tertanggung maksimal 
7 hari kerja, sejak pengajuan klaim dan anda tidak perlu lagi membayar premi 
lanjutan walaupun kasus terjadi sebelum masa pembayaran premi anda berakhir, 
karena yang membayar sisa premi adalah PRUDENTIAL)
Kamar Rawat Inap sebesar 7 unit atau Rp. 280.000,-/sehari ;  maksimal sampai 
100 hari/tahun 
  Biaya Ruang ICU Rp. 560.000,-/sehari ;  maksimal sampai 30 hari/tahun
Biaya Operasi (kecil,menengah,besar) Rp. (700.000,- s/d 28.000.000,-) ;  per 
sekali operasi/tahun   
  Pru Med menggunakan sistem reimburst, sehingga jika anda punya asuransi 
kesehatan lain, masih bisa dicairkan ditempat anda, ada juga yang menggunakan 
kartu yang bekerja sama dengan International SOS, namun jika anda punya 
asuransi kesehatan lain (atau sudah memiliki) tidak bisa diklaim di dua 
asuransi yang berbeda. 

4. Santunan meninggal dunia karena kecelakaan sebesar Rp. 300.000.000,- CASH

Jadi, misalkan;
 1. Mr/MrsX tadi ingin mengambil uang tunai pada usia 50 tahun, maka 
dia mendapat Rp. 68.992.000,- s/d Rp. 383.576.000,- (dan polis masih berjalan 
sampai tertanggung meninggal, walau tanpa bayar premi sisa 10 tahunnya, nanti 
meninggal dapat santunan lagi).
 2. Mr/Mrs X tadi meninggal dunia karena kecelakaan pada usia 50 tahun, maka 
keluarganya akan mendapat Rp. 300 jt + Rp. 583 jt + Rp. 383 jt = 
 Rp.1,2

Artikel: Penyakit asap rokok

MENGAMALKAN gaya hidup aktif dan kerap bersenam bukan jaminan seseorang
perokok akan terhindar daripada menghidap penyakit akibat asap rokok,
seperti kanser paru-paru dan sekatan pulmonari kronik (COPD).

Inilah realitinya. Kebanyakan pesakit COPD yang dirujuk ke Institut
Perubatan Respiratori (IPR) di Jalan Pahang, Kuala Lumpur, membabitkan
individu yang aktif bersukan ketika muda.

Ada yang pernah menjadi jaguh badminton, menjuarai sukan lumba lari atau
pemain handalan pelbagai sukan berkumpulan. Walaupun aktif bersukan, tabiat
merokok yang diamalkan sejak muda meragut kesihatan mereka pada hari tua.

COPD juga dipanggil 'batuk perokok' atau asma perokok kerana ia menyebabkan
pesakit sesak nafas. Pesakit COPD serius di negara ini dianggarkan mencecah
500,000 orang. Kajian mendapati satu daripada lima perokok akan mengalami
COPD selepas 15 hingga 20 tahun merokok.

Pengarah IPR, Datin Dr Aziah Ahmad Mahayiddin, berkata aktiviti sukan belum
dapat menjamin seseorang perokok terlindung daripada penyakit disebabkan
asap rokok. Malah, pengalamannya mengendali dan merawat pesakit COPD
mengesahkan lagi perkara itu.

"Semakin lama seseorang merokok, semakin tinggi risiko mendapat penyakit.
Seseorang perokok masih terdedah kepada kesan racun dalam asap rokok yang
boleh menyebabkan pelbagai penyakit kronik," katanya.

Berita disiarkan Associate Press baru-baru ini melaporkan, senaman mungkin
boleh membantu merendahkan risiko kanser paru-paru sehingga 35 peratus.
Kajian mendapati perokok wanita yang bersenam secara aktif mempunyai risiko
lebih rendah untuk menghidap kanser paru-paru berbanding perokok yang tidak
bersenam.

Dalam kajian membabitkan 42,000 wanita berusia mendapati, 324 kes kanser
paru-paru berlaku pada perokok yang mengamalkan gaya hidup tidak aktif,
manakala hanya 151 kes di kalangan perokok yang rajin bersenam.

Bagaimanapun, ia bukan lesen bagi membenarkan seseorang itu merokok kerana
rokok adalah punca utama yang menjejaskan kesihatan, kata pensyarah
Universiti Pennsylvania, Dr Kathryn Schmitz yang mengetuai penyelidikan.

Tindakan lebih baik dan bijak ialah berhenti merokok secepat mungkin.
Tindakan ini mengurangkan risiko serangan kanser paru-paru sehingga 10 atau
11 kali ganda.

Malah, keputusan kajian itu mendapat tentangan banyak pihak yang
menyifatkannya kurang tepat kerana tidak mengambil kira kesan senaman
terhadap masalah kesihatan lain yang kerap dialami perokok tegar.

Dr Aziah berkata, keputusan kajian itu tidak boleh diterima terus kerana
banyak aspek perlu diteliti seperti cara ia dilakukan, kesahihan dan penaja
soal selidik.

"Setiap kali diadakan kempen kesedaran mengenai COPD, pasti ada yang
mendakwa mempunyai datuk yang merokok sejak berpuluh tahun tetapi tetap
sihat. Tahap kesihatan seseorang bergantung kepada daya perlindungan.

"Ada orang yang ketahanan badannya lemah dan mudah menghidap penyakit
apabila merokok dan sebaliknya. Ini sebabnya hanya seorang daripada lima
perokok akan menghidap COPD. Namun jika anda merokok, bermakna risiko
menghidap pelbagai penyakit kronik memang ada dan semakin tinggi jika kuat
merokok," katanya.

Berdasarkan pengalamannya, ramai mengaku menjadi perokok sosial (hanya
merokok sekali sekala) walaupun jumlah rokok dihisap melebihi 10 batang
sehari. Sebenarnya semua perokok yang ada sekarang bermula sebagai perokok
sosial.

Mereka tidak sedar nikotin dalam rokok boleh menyebabkan ketagihan. Apabila
masalah ini berlaku, jumlah rokok bertambah secara perlahan-lahan setiap
hari bagi mengatasi ketagihan.

"Bagi individu yang merasakan mereka perokok sosial, saya ucapkan tahniah.
Bersyukur kerana anda belum masuk ke tahap ketagih dan ini bermakna usaha
berhenti merokok jauh lebih mudah.

"Tahap kesihatan akan lebih baik jika anda berhenti merokok sekarang dan ia
secara tidak langsung boleh mengurangkan risiko menghidap kanser paru-paru
dan COPD. Anda pasti berjaya berhenti jika bersikap positif, kuat semangat
dan berusaha menjauhi rokok demi kesihatan jangka panjang, terutama untuk
hari tua nanti," katanya.

Selain itu, tindakan berhenti merokok akan menyelamatkan nyawa pasangan yang
secara tidak langsung menjadi perokok pasif. Menurut Pertubuhan Kesihatan
Sedunia (WHO), perokok pasif ialah individu yang terdedah kepada asap rokok
sekurang-kurangnya 15 minit dalam masa dua hari untuk tempoh seminggu.

Risalah pendidikan Kementerian Kesihatan menyebut, perokok pasif mempunyai
risiko 30 peratus lebih tinggi mendapat kanser paru-paru dan penyakit
jantung (25 peratus lebih) berbanding perokok.

The principle of the Law of Attraction is that whatever 
you are seeking in the Universe is also seeking you.  
I believe that you have a desire to quit smoking, and this 
email can help you manifest that desire.

Now, if you've read this far, you're ready to become a
non-smoker.  But you've also probably still got quite a 
few excuses that you're holding on to as justifications 
for continuing to smoke your way to an early grave.

So let's get those excuses out of the way right now!

This is a popular one with the ladies, but I even hear 
it from men:  "If I quit, I'll gain weight."

Okay, here are the facts:  you gain weight when you take 
in more calories than your body burns.  That has nothing 
to do with smoking or not smoking.  While the idea that 
quitting tobacco causes food to taste better may be true, 
it's also true that people who've never used tobacco will 
gain weight this year.

There are separate programs to deal with that issue.  
Don't use that as a "cop-out."

Besides, the idea that tobacco is a weight control 
solution doesn't address the reason why there seems to 
be a ton of fat smokers!

Now I also suspect that some people don't want to gain 
weight because they think they won't be attractive anymore.  
Well, let me clue you into something.  There is a very 
real possibility that..

...your sex life will improve if you quit smoking.

Did I get your attention with that one?  It's true.
Physically, it's a known medical fact that smoking 
lowers testosterone in men and interferes with a woman's
orgiastic ability.  But even more importantly --- there 
is nothing at all sexy about a smoker.  Who wants to get 
into bed and kiss an ashtray?  And don't fool yourself.  
Breath mints don't do it.

If you ever kiss a smoker after you've become a non-smoker
you'll probably gag with the thought of that's how it was 
to kiss you for so many years.

Another excuse:  "I'm under a lot of stress and smoking 
relaxes me."  It's not the smoking that relaxes you.  It's
the THOUGHT that smoking relaxes you that provides the 
actual relaxation. 

Smoking actually increases your heart rate and raises 
your blood pressure.  And, as in all other things in life, 
change your thoughts and you change your life.

A widely used excuse:  "I switched to a safe, low-tar,
low-nicotine cigarette."  Excuse me for being so blunt, 
but that's B.S.!  There are NO SAFE cigarettes.  You were 
not designed to ingest smoke, period.  You ain't kiddin me
or anybody else, so quit kiddin yourself.

Here's an excuse a lot of people won't share but a lot of 
people have:  "It's too hard to quit - I don't have the
willpower."

One half of all the people who have ever smoked have become
non-smokers.  That's many millions of people and we all 
lack will power to one degree or another.  The question is 
not about will power.  It's about motivation.  And I prove 
the point with this:  Do you get up and go to work every 
day because of will power or because of motivation (like if 
you don't go, you won't have a roof over your head!)?

And, finally, one of the emptiest but most used excuses of 
all: "I'm such a grouch to be around when I quit smoking."  
Well, let me share something with you brothers and sisters.   

I would bet my house that every person in your life would 
rather be around a live grouch than a DEAD smoker.  And if 
you are a grouch while you're adjusting to becoming a 
non-smoker, it won't last your whole life.  But I know 
something that will. 

Once they remove that lung it ain't growing back.

if it's not something that's been on your mind for a while
