hi, i'm interested in writing a flex/bison parser for a c++ project.
i keep finding references to flex++/bison++
using google but they are all somewhat old links. is the latest
version of flex/bison c++ compatible, do i need to worry about
flex++/bison++ ?
The programs bison++ and flex++ are supposedly unrelated to Bison and
Flex. Latest Bison 2.0 and also Flex already has some C++ support,
though it might be made more convenient.

It depends on what level you want a tutorial. There are Lex/Yacc
examples for example in the Flex/Bison manuals, and books like the
one by Aho, Sethi & Ullman, "Compilers..." (the Dragon book). (Also
see the FAQ of the newsgroup comp.compilers, published there
monthly.) Then read use the before mentioned manuals and hang out in
the before mentioned newsgroup.
