Committing Swedish translations

2013-10-07 Thread Göran Uddeborg
How can I have a translation committed, when there are no active
committers in the team.

Committing Swedish translations to the Gnome project has previously
been handled by Christian Rose and Daniel Nylander. Both of them were
very active once, but both are busy with other things these days. So
when a bug report (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=708919)
showed up, I decided to try to fix it myself.

I've fixed the bug that was reported. (There is more to update in
this catalog, it is not current. But one thing at the time.) I've
also submitted it via the web page
(https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-clocks/master/po/sv). But
since I'm not a committer, I can't take it any further. And since the
group's committers are no longer active, I suspect it won't happen
anything more with it. It doesn't even appear to be available
anywhere on the web as far as I can tell.

So what is the best way to go on from here? Can someone on this list
pick up my update and commit it, perhaps?

FWIW,

Göran is a trusted and experienced translator in the Swedish translation
community. If anyone can help him have Swedish translation updates and
fixes committed, I'd appreciate that very much. Thanks in advance,

/Christian

nautilus: String freeze break request

2013-10-07 Thread Jiro Matsuzawa
Hi the i18n team and translators,

I'd like to request a string freeze break for nautilus.
It is a trivial fix of a typo. The bug ticket is #709359 [1].

I'd really prefer this to be fixed after branching for 3.10.

Any other release for branch gnome-3-8 ?

2013-10-07 Thread Rafael Ferreira
Hi all.

Some new untranslated strings in gnome-3-8 appeared in Damned Lies. So,
just to make sure, should they be translated or no other minor version of
3.8 will be release?

Thanks,

If you mean gnome-shell, then you should read this post:

Piotr, for our locale (pt_BR) the rygel is also shown.

We must translate?

Best regards,

Enrico.

That's really up to you. There was some little developer activity
after the last point release, but I don't know if there will be any
more releases from rygel-0-18 branch.
