Cannot launch dia

Hello,

 

I downloaded DIA because I needed to create UML diagram but when I try to
launch it, windows says me: "diaw.exe has stopped working".

What can I do?

You might want to uninstall it and try again from a fresh download from the
servers.

It is unlikely to be the DIA program itself as many, many, people have it
work on W7 machines.

Is yours the newest release that came in the last day or so v 0.97.2?  If
that is so, then you might try downloading the version before 0.97.1.  It
is possible there is a glitch in this most fresh release.  I would expect
0.97.1 to be solid and shiny.

Why can't i export PDF files in any page size?

i like to export as pdf files and then included them in my tex documents.
But the bottom margin in the pdf files occupy two much meaningless space
in my documents.  How to solve this problem?
