Fan Zheng, I got my own build on Windows XP, with MSVC++ 2008 Express. If I wanna modify the souce code, which tools do I need? VC++2008 is enough? Which tools do you use in your development? I do not kown how to open the whole project source code, whether I need do that ? I don't kown How to start in the code and debug the code if I change, and how to submit the code to community? Because openoffice source code project is different from the conventional project. Thank you for your reply. I guess my way is by the UI/dialog way inside AOO. What I want is that when I open a writer file and input something, click save button, there will be a dialog for save, I can choose "ABC" as the file type but not "ODT". certainly this "ABC" type file can be open by writer, e.g "file1.ABC". Hi, How to change thenameoftheinstallation package before building? I think the "Apache_OpenOffice_incubating_1.0.1_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe" is not accurate, it can be installed in the system with x64, so "Apache_OpenOffice_incubating_1.0.1_Win_install_en-US.exe" is better. BTW, if I want to change the setup information, how can I do that?
