Thank you for your reply. I guess my way is by the UI/dialog way inside AOO. What I want is that when I open a writer file and input something, click save button, there will be a dialog for save, I can choose "ABC" as the file type but not "ODT". certainly this "ABC" type file can be open by writer, e.g "file1.ABC". I don't kown how to implement these and which way is the best I can choose
