[Bug 324836] Re: Alt-Tab window switcher fails with an open Menu

2010-09-16 Thread eZFlow
This applies to any multimedia keyboard buttons, so if i want to turn
the volume down with the media button while a menu is open it wont work
just like any keyboard shortcuts.

[Bug 358387] Re: gnome-system-monitor crashes on change preferences

2010-09-18 Thread eZFlow
This bug has been submitted on 2009-04-09 and there is still no progress
or what so ever. The developer needs some slapping in the face or this
bug will stay for years!

In Maverick the same is still the case and crashes with error:
ERROR:load-graph.cpp:742:void load_graph_change_speed(LoadGraph*, guint):
assertion failed: (g->timer_index)
ptrace: Operation not permitted.
/home/ezflow/2966: No such file or directory.
No stack.

If i run system monitor with sudo it does not crash so something is up
with the permissions.

They should write a completely new and lightweight monitor, something like
windows 8 has done.

[Bug 874054] Re: gnome-system-monitor "trashes" drive on closing

2011-10-24 Thread eZFlow
i can confirm this.
also system monitors cpu usage is too high in general. it should be made much
lighter and faster so when your computer is unresponsive (high disk activity)
you don't have to wait 30+ seconds for it to start up so you can kill a process.

Re: [Bug 623922] Re: Special keystrokes, including shortcuts and multimedia keys, cease to function when certain applications and menus are open

2011-01-13 Thread eZFlow
Chris, thanks a lot for marking this critical, finally someone who is
understanding my frustration!
I'm sure a lot of people are bugged by this but sadly it's not spoken out
and this has been going on since the very beginning. (I submitted a bug
report before but none cared to reply so i figured papercuts get more
attention although even here it took a while)

I can confirm everything you said, my keyboard does not use FN for the
volume buttons so it's a single stroke and i use it a lot. I do have a bunch
of FN keys on the F buttons but never use those.

Please push this so it gets fixed in Natty :)
