[Bug 516372] [NEW] package gnome-power-manager 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 250
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager I am unsure what the bug is but my internet kept disconnecting and when I rebooted, it would not recognize my password. I had to go into the terminal and futz around until it seemed to work. I think I went to root and changed the password to what it was before I went in there (i.e., same password). Same problem here. After upgrading to Intrepid, Rhythmbox no longer gets the proxy settings from the gnome network proxy setting under system menu. [Bug 325973] Re: "Starting File Manager" windows open uncontrollably
One more thing, since this problem started yesterday, every reboot is immediately followed by an Update Information pop-up saying "The language support files for your selected language seem to be incomplete. You can install the missing components by clicking on "Run this action now" and follow the instructions. An active internet connection is required. If you would like to do this at a later time, please use "System Settings -> Regional & Language" instead." Choosing to run the action has no effect, choosing Next or Close kills the window. On Ubuntu 8.10 i386, my Evolution isn't crashing at all, but tracker also isn't indexing my email messages. I have two imap accounts configured in Evolution. Tracker has finished indexing, and although it picks up various other kinds of object, it reports 0 emails indexed. [Bug 823021] Re: libre.fm/nowplaying url is contacted and sent the current song being played without my consent
I'm not able to reproduce this on Debian (Last.fm plugin enabled, but not authenticated with Libre.fm). Could you give some more details about your configuration? e.g. Is the Last.fm plugin marked as being enabled? If you click the "Configure" button for that plugin are both "Last.fm" and "Libre.fm" ticked? If you click the Libre.fm tab in the sidebar what does it show? Are you certain that you haven't set up the plugin in the past and just forgotten? The fact that the "s" parameter is filled in your data dump there would seem to indicate that you have authenticated with Libre.fm, as this is the session key which is retrieved as part of the authentication handshake (you'd have had to click the little "Log in" button in the Libre.fm tab at some point in the past, after which it would then be displaying some details from your profile.) [Bug 823021] Re: libre.fm/nowplaying url is contacted and sent the current song being played without my consent
You can optionally select to not send listening statistics at all (but still listen to Libre.fm) by deselecting the "Submit listening data" option on the Libre.fm tab. However this will also stop it from sending data about the tracks from Libre.fm you've listened to as well. Sending all listening data is pretty common for most audio scrobblers, however you might want to raise this upstream and suggest that the wording be clarified so that it's more obvious to people who aren't familiar with other scrobbling services. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/823021 Title: libre.fm/nowplaying url is contacted and sent the current song being played without my consent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/823021/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
