[Bug 1573206] Re: GNOME Software does not install third-party .deb packages
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1573408 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1573408 I was convinced this was a bug on the 3rd-party files I tried to install because I REFUSED TO BELIEVE an LTS release of Ubuntu would get this far with such bug, this is unacceptable. This is so sad. I will consider this a "jump ship right NOW" warning, so I'll take it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1573206 Title: GNOME Software does not install third-party .deb packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1573206/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 59479] Re: Gnome splash screen quits way too early
Humm actually I didn't think about this possibility...GSS may just be loading blank icons...anyway, if this is what's happening, then I think those 'blank icons' should come with gnome splash screen... By the way, what happens if starting up the system with GSS in 8.10? Has anyone tried it already? -- Gnome splash screen quits way too early https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59479 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 303699] [NEW] Nautilus Weird Behavior [File Viewer]
Public bug reported: 1) Open up a nautilus window and browse some folder that has too many files and you need to use the scroll bar to view those files. 2) Open a new tab from the same directory you just did the first step. Select this tab. The scroll bar won't be there, unless you resize and maximize the window again. But the scroll bar will be in one bar, once you switch to the other one, it won't be there anymore. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus Weird Behavior [File Viewer] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Re: [Bug 251809] Re: scrollbar has some problem with multiple tabs
Thanks Christoph, but I don't know where the Source tree is located at. I also tried to search for .patch files only and files named 'scrollbars' after have done the step you suggested. No search result. So I don't know where to cd through the terminal to apply the patch. Any idea? no problem. =] BTW I was wondering...U8.04BETA sets my video to "configured video device". It should detect intel915 from my laptop. Hi there, 2008/4/22, Frantisek Vacek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > I can confirm that with current Hardy RC1 this bug still persist for > Slovak translation. The translation file posted by Yanick solved the > problem for me. Could someone push this fix into 8.04 please? You should go to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ and make sure that there is a workaround on your language. Use the search to find bug reports. If there isn't anything about 'gnome-about' on your language, make a new bug report. And don't forget to mention that Yanick's translation file got it solved. [Bug 59479] Re: Gnome splash screen quits way too early
May 28th, 2008 and this bug still exists. Exactly as it is detailed before, gnomesplash goes away when Nautilus starts being loaded so you have to guess when the system is ready. I just commented this here because Ubuntu hardy comes with GNOME 2.22 but it seems that this detail doesn't mean that everything on GNOME will be working just fine and bug-free. Could someone please just take a look? Also could you guys add this BR to the wishlist? thank you. -- Gnome splash screen quits way too early https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59479 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
