Bug #1229400 can't be found (perhaps it is also private?), so I can't

Upstream bug is https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723431 .
Substantial work seems to have been done, but only some prerequisites
are on master currently.

[Bug 102047] Re: rhythmbox crashed when I opened a faulty podcast

The attached podcast causes a crash when I seek. Restarting the computer
does not help. I am using Intrepid and Rhytmbox 0.11.6. Totem plays it
fine.

[Bug 1175731] Re: maximum volume when device connects, can't adjust unless I open sound settings

2013-10-12 Thread Leif Arne Storset
Looks like upstream bug
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=693988 covers at least the
part about "the volume control indicator controls the builtin audio, not
the Bluetooth device". The part about forgetting the volume is not
covered (I don't know whether that would be a feature request).

[Bug 579879] [NEW] In gnome-keyboard-properties, setting the standard layout deletes other layouts

2010-05-13 Thread Leif Arne Storset
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

To reproduce, add several keyboard layouts (I added Norwegian, US
English and Esperanto). Set one of them as standard.

Result: The two others are unexpectedly deleted from the list.
Furthermore, the "Key(s) to change layout" and "Key sequence to kill X
server" settings are removed with the other layouts. When I add them
back the default ("Both Alt keys together") is used instead of my chosen
shortcut ("Right Ctrl").

Expected result: The other layouts are left alone. "Key(s) to change
layout" should EITHER (1) be disabled when there is only one layout, but
the software remembers it for when more layouts are added again OR (2)
remain enabled, but the shortcut key handler (whichever program that is)
ignores it when there is only one layout. I believe the latter is the
best course, since "Key sequence to kill X server" and other options are
not directly related to keyboard layouts.

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
gnome-control-center 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1

[Bug 311057] Re: Add to Panel - Menu bar just reproduces Main menu

2009-03-03 Thread Leif Arne Storset
I can't find the custom menu applet (or indeed any applet but the Main
Menu) in /usr/lib/bonobo/servers (which the standard location GNOME
panel applet Bonobo .server files, according to
http://projects.gnome.org/ORBit2/appletstutorial.html#AEN102). Yet "Menu
bar" is visible in the Add to Panel dialog box for me too. Are there any
other locations GNOME searches for panel applets?

[Bug 280181] [NEW] When text is marked yellow, text is invisible
