[Bug 2093834] Re: "Large text" setting does not apply when changed
i no longer have access to that Ubuntu system, I had to change distribution for another project of mine as well as needing a KDE system since gnome has no colour correction for us colourblind folk, besides the point though. I do know that the only extentions I had enabled other than the default Ubuntu ones is blur my shell, which didn't cause in issue with the large text settings in other distributors (fedora and arch) I probably should've checked but I always forget that blur my shell is an extension and not just part of gnome. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093834 Title: "Large text" setting does not apply when changed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2093834/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I didn't mark the status as incomplete... The Ubuntu 24.04 installer software that generates the BUG report marked it. But it's possible that the system couldn't assign an error label because it reported: The installer terminated for an unknown reason (due to an unknown error). ? [Bug 2093399] Re: Screen Stuttering on Intel Graphics when using X11 non-standard modes
Understand what you say about the Dell display - but I see the same behavior regardless of the screen I am using. As for Wayland - get the same stuttering - that is why I believe it is related to the intel i915 driver. I get the same behavior on a completely different PC, different motherboard, different family CPU, and Intel ARC A310 gpu. If I swop in a Radeon video card - connect it to the same dell monitor (by the way its it a different dell monitor that I used as in the very first bug report) the video is smooth - please explain that as according to me it is the same system except using the amdgpu driver ? Does not matter - I am attaching new info with the system connected to a LG TV - also 2 videos - showing exactly the same issue both in wayland and in xorg. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093399 Title: Screen Stuttering on Intel Graphics when using X11 non-standard modes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2093399/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
