Understand what you say about the Dell display - but I see the same behavior regardless of the screen I am using. As for Wayland - get the same stuttering - that is why I believe it is related to the intel i915 driver.
I get the same behavior on a completely different PC, different motherboard, different family CPU, and Intel ARC A310 gpu. If I swop in a Radeon video card - connect it to the same dell monitor (by the way its it a different dell monitor that I used as in the very first bug report) the video is smooth - please explain that as according to me it is the same system except using the amdgpu driver ? Does not matter - I am attaching new info with the system connected to a LG TV - also 2 videos - showing exactly the same issue both in wayland and in xorg. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093399 Title: Screen Stuttering on Intel Graphics when using X11 non-standard modes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2093399/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
