[Bug 1424955] [NEW] touchpad acting like a touchscreen in gtk3 applications scrolling while trying to move the cursor
Public bug reported: In Kubuntu vivid, in gtk3 applications, when I try to move the cursor hover a scrollable area of a gtk3 application (meld, winetricks) with my touchpad (a clickpad), it scrolls even if I am not clicking. I can click if I press harder, like everywhere. In this case, the entry in the list (if the scrollable area is a list) is selected. The feedback looks exactly like if I were using a touchscreen. I think this should only happen if I scrolled or drag 'n' dropped a scrollable area hover a non draggable object. This behavior doesn't show with gtk2 or Qt applications. [Bug 1399953] Re: Google contacts authentication problem with U-O-A (Trusty, Vivid - Unity7)
@Alberto I recreated my google account (on Trusty) from online accounts. Even though it, now, works with Evolution, it still fails with Syncevolution. [Bug 517021] Re: gvfsd-metadata causes 100% CPU usage
The same problem at 14.04, x64. However, I have traced the origin of this bug for me. I found that this bug begins to appear after I click on the video in the browser, right-click> Save frame as. After that, the picture is saved and there is an overload (devours ~ 40% CPU - I have four cores) - gvfsd have to kill the process. I watch a video in Firefox addon via "HTML5 Video Everywhere!". Now I just do not click on the button and do not face this problem. If we consider that such GVFS, it is likely that some program, recording file causes a bug that produces an infinite loop command. I think anyone with this bug occurs continuously, it is worth trying to observe and track its origin, and what causes it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/517021 Title: gvfsd-metadata causes 100% CPU usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/517021/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
