Questions about users page

2002-09-25 Thread Gerfried Fuchs
Hi!

I try to translate the users page and found some things that puzzle me
a little bit:

-) What is a public magnet school? Especially the magnet is what I am
refering to (userdetail MerloStation).

 -) What is a DAV-Server (userdetail hispalinux).

I guess I'll have some more questions when I try to catch up with the
latest changes, but these are holding me back from committing my initial
revision.

 Have fun,
Alfie

How about s,tribute/,,? Is there a reason for the subdirectory, like a file

I would consider, if we could get enough material. To provide a
single page for some developers (specially for those listed under
memorials). This could include even a picture of the developer himself, or
notes from fellow Debian developers who knew them.

That's the main reason of having a separate subdivision...

Yes.

Is there any way to combine it with Debian History?

Is there a wiki anywhere we could use to jot down odd remembrances?

That's a pity, it's hard to track down such things You seem to be
at least sure that it was on a Debian website, are you?

What is the exact typo you are refering to? I don't get it. Do you
mean that Linus? Linus is the name of the creator of Linux, Linus is
used correctly in that context if you mean that. If not please be a
little bit more straight to the point in what you mean

According to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary:

Main Entry: magnet school

Thanks for your reply... though 'unreliable' is not the term I would use to
describe theft. Or is it fraud? Offering an item for sale, receiving cash

thievery, though I am betting it contains fraud as well.
