Hi!

I noted this in the WML logs on klecker (I got the same locally, so
then I checked the originals):

make[3]: Entering directory `/org/www.debian.org/webwml/english/devel/wnpp'
test -d ../../../../debian.org/devel/wnpp || mkdir -m g+w -p
../../../../debian.org/devel/wnpp
wml -q wnpp.wml
ePerl:Error: Perl runtime error (interpreter rc=107)

 Contents of STDERR channel: -
Can't call method "bind" on an undefined value at
./../../../english/devel/wnpp/wnpp.pl line 47.
--
** WML:Break: Error in Pass 3 (rc=74).

Can someone who knows about this look into it?

hm, that was in december, guess it was forgotten about, FOM is still
up, maybe someone can take it down, and remove the plugs from the
contact page?

There's no "tech" in architecture, at least not in the US. I looked at some
websites on British-American equivalents and could find no evidence for this
spelling in the UK.

I don't see "Architechture" (I assume that's what you meant?)
anywhere.

I see..
"Architecture-independent component:"

which looks fine to me. closed.

Could you please change line 49 of wnpp.pl to read

$ldap = Net::LDAP->new($server, 'port' => $port) or die "$@";

and run it again? This should be a little more informative about
the failure (at least according to the perl-ldap POD).

Matt

It appears that the ldap server on bugs.debian.org is down. To help
if this happens in the future wnpp.pl has been modified to use the line:
$ldap = Net::LDAP->new($server, 'port' => $port) or die "Couldn't make
connection to ldap server: $@";

I'll see if I can find someone who knows something about ldap to figure
out what is wrong with the ldap server.

I guess you're right, there's no point in delaying the removal any longer.
I'll go get rid of it now.
