Bug#97234: ITP: Subversion -- An alternative to CVS
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist I plan to package Subversion http://subversion.tigris.org> The goal of subversion is to build a version control system that could replace cvs. It will have all the features of CVS and rename of files and directories, permisions and other meta information and symbolic links. A lot of other features is mentioned on the above website. Subversion is licensed under an Apache/BSD-style license. I havn't tried it yet. But if it keeps half it's promises it's worth tho work. I can't find it in the archive or at the wnpp bug page. So it shouldn't be ITP'ed yet. -- hash-bang-slash-bin-slash-bash

We're going to try to be self-hosting for the next milestone, which will hopefully be in the near future. But I wouldn't recommend packaging anything before then, and maybe not before the first beta release. sam th --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- http://www.abisource.com/~sam/ OpenPGP Key: CABD33FC --- http://samth.dyndns.org/key DeCSS: http://samth.dynds.org/decss pgpZF4QcMGPr7.pgp Description: PGP signature

At that time I couldn't do an import. I hope the situation has moved forward a bit. > I can't find it in the archive or at the wnpp bug page. So it > shouldn't be ITP'ed yet. Probably related to the fact that it doesn't work, yet. -- Marcelo | "ER...HO. HO. HO." [EMAIL PROTECTED] | -- Death makes a career move |(Terry Pratchett, Hogfather)

Bug#97300: ITP: kerberos-configus - package to manage configuration files for multiple Kerberos implementations
package: wnpp severity: wishlist In an attempt to solve bug #80365, I found that we needed infrastructure to manage config files for Kerberos versions 4 and 5. We have two implementations of each version of Kerberos in Debian currently. The can in general share the same config files, so it is desirable not to lose configuration information when removing/purging one implementation for another. Thus, I have authored kerberos-configs, a package to manage the config files. There is a version available (referenced within the bug) that supports krb5. The krb4 support will be added once krb5 support is finalized. I will coordinate with the other maintainers of Kerberos implementations to upload this package. It's getting to a point where it is worth ITping the package, so I can upload once coordination is complete. The package is released under the GPL, so it should be fine for non-us.
