2007-02-11 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

Package: micro-httpd
Version: 20011214-1
Severity: wishlist

The package description suggests that this software is designed to start
from inetd.

"It runs from inetd, which means its performance is poor."

Any other inetd started software I can think of configures inetd when
the package is installed, but this one doesn't.

It is my opinion that an appropriate line should be added to inetd.conf
to simplify configuration. Users don't want to spend time doing things
apt could to, and that has to be done with a package every time it is
installed.

Should I try providing a patch to help solving this bug?

Thank you,

I've written (and recently updated) a monitor which checks up on Samba
and Windows file share servers. It may be of use to other 'mon'
users, but currently it is hibernating in the patch manager.

Bug#410592: spfquery: short description is not correct

2007-02-11 Thread Jason Thomas
Package: spfquery
Severity: normal

The short description for spfquery claims that it is a library when it
is not. It should say something like 'Sender Policy Framework Query
Tool'.

Long decription could state that it uses libspf.
