Package: micro-httpd
Version: 20011214-1
Severity: wishlist
The package description suggests that this software is designed to start
from inetd.
"It runs from inetd, which means its performance is poor."
Any other inetd started software I can think of configures inetd when
the package is installed, but this one doesn't.
It is my opinion that an appropriate line should be added to inetd.conf
to simplify configuration. Users don't want to spend time doing things
apt could to, and that has to be done with a package every time it is
installed.
Should I try providing a patch to help solving this bug?
Thank you,
