Hi,
today I updated to linux 2.6.11-rc4 because I had problems with
linux-wlan-ng (which are solved now :-) ). But now I only have 80x25
virtual console :-(
Ben, I saw in the 2.6.11-rc4 changelog that you updated the radeonfb.
Does this have something to do with my problem?
I have
append="video=radeonfb:1024x786-32"
in my /etc/yaboot.conf and this was working until 2.6.10. Anyone know
what the problem ist?

bootsplash

2004-11-26 Thread Martin Lohmeier
Hi,

have anyone bootsplash working on his ppc? I got the source from
bootsplash.de, compiled it with no problem but dpkg can't install it.

dpkg: error processing bootsplash (--install):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10

Anyone out there who got it working?

Yes, that is something with /usr/share/debconf/confmodule. If I put an
"exit" in the second line of debian/postinst script then I can install
this package. If I put the exit in the line after '.
/usr/share/debconf/confmodule' then I got the exit status 10...

work here with radeonfb, but not at boot (error with initrd).
i use this: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=192895

I found this gentoo howto during the weekend but did not succeed in
geting it work. I got the following error:

I'll try an other image today...probaly (hopefully) this will work.
