As far as I'm aware they've never attempted to improve packaging so I doubt they can maintain it properly... Last time I checked upstream packaging was too sloppy for upload. I still have some concerns regarding inferior licensing [1] and I believe that MooseFS is redundant when we already have LizardFS. I'm not against having alternative storage system which may have benefits like availability of different MySQL/MariaDB flavours... hi, everything i can fix pretty easily, except: Also, you did not use git-dpm, as mandate inside the DPMT: https://wiki.debian.org/Python/GitPackaging there are a lot of tutorials which explain how to start a repo from scratch using DPMT, but it's hard to know what to do with an established repo. i could easily solve this by nuking the repo and starting over, but this is frowned upon. so do i start out be reverting all the commits after the original `gbp import-orig blah.orig.tar.gz`, and then do all the DPMT stuff after that? any advice here would be appreciated. with thanks jonathon

Hi Mattia and Gianfranco, yes I haven't answered recently because I've been working with upstream to tune the installation part and deal with the interface version that was not correctly handled. The patch is pushed upstream and I've asked for a new tarball release this morning which should come soon as they also want to put some other improvements inside as well. The packaging in Ubuntu is mine ; Ubuntu guys were kind enough to accept it though the 2 previous points needed to be improved : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1541457/comments/10 Sorry for not updating ; I should come with something much better :) As usual, thanks for advising, F. If you open them in fontforge, their true names are DroidSerif-Bold and DroidSerif-Italic. Those are gone from Debian, but according to Wikipedia they're subsumed into NotoSerif. Ie, package fonts-noto-hinted files /usr/share/fonts/truetype/noto/NotoSerif-{Bold,Italic}.ttf -- An imaginary friend squared is a real enemy.

Bug#811455: RFS: qhttpengine/0.1.0+dfsg1-1 [ITP]
Hi Mattia, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I completely forgot to reply to your last email. I removed the debug package, bumped the standards version, and removed the Lintian override. As for the test suite, I was able to reproduce the failure and found the cause of the problem: the test suite expects the $HOME environment variable to be set to a valid directory. I worked around this problem by manually setting $HOME to /tmp in debian/rules. Please let me know if there is anything wrong with this. The latest changes have been uploaded to mentors: https://mentors.debian.net/package/qhttpengine - Nathan On 2016-05-23 02:12 AM, Mattia Rizzolo wrote: Hi Nathan!
