kde-spectacle removed from kde-standard dependencies on sid/amd64
Hello, I have noticed that today's sid upgrade has removed the `kde-spectacle` dependency from `kde-standard` on the amd64 architecture. I have verified this by checking the package information at https://packages.debian.org/sid/kde-standard, and it appears that only the architectures [alpha, ia64, mips64el, riscv64] now require `kde-spectacle`. This change seems surprising to me, especially considering that the amd64 platform typically has the most users and generally sufficient disk space. Removing `kde-spectacle` from the dependencies might increase the difficulty for new Linux users who rely on a complete and familiar KDE environment. Additionally, the amount of disk space saved is likely minimal compared to the potential impact on user experience. Is this a bug? should I file a bug report or a wishlist item to address this issue? Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards

I think this makes sense. Would you share your mdns rule ? Do you know by any chance how to ship packaged firewalld rules ? Thanks, -- Aurélien

I'm attaching the (trivial) rules I set using the system settings app for mdns (and kdeconnect, which has a similar issue). Thanks again, Shai.

Qt 6.8.2 incoming
Hi! As usual please take care. Parts of Plasma 6.3.2 is mostly available, some parts like kwin with fix for a rare 100% CPU hang issue I have seen on two laptops are still missing. Idea is to get in Qt 6.8.2 quickly, but it will take some time for the build servers to do their job. Also there are dependencies which need to be rebuilt against new Qt. Thanks to Patrick and everyone else involved! Best, -- Martin - please no carbon copy to me
