The culprit seems to be the Swarm screen saver. It doesn't activate on my system (even though it works when testing it in the system settings). All other screen savers do work, and lock screen does correctly restart them when the unlock dialog disappears. I will file a bug against the swarm screensaver in kscreensaver. Tweak Kopete to render BBCode
Hello all, I was wondering whether there was any sort of Kopete plugin or other method to tweak the app into rendering BBCode? It's aesthetically unpleasing to have to bear with the millions of formatiing tags used by certain ladies (and some men as well, to be fair) in my msn contact list... Regards, Jason
Re: Tweak Kopete to render BBCode
You can write your own plugin for Kopete pretty easily using the pipes plugin. Pipe the incoming messages through your own script and render HTML. I wrote a plugin to write messages upside down using this method [1], you would probably need to extend that to cope with richtext input. -Christoph [1] http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=98746 Am Sonntag, 14.
