You should be able to resize a note, and not only through a somewhat obscure combination. I've found no bugs reported against the problems you said, and I've also found one that is important to me: I use plain text notes, and but I set different one different font in each one. This settings were not kept after the upgrade. I can set the font, and then write _new_ text with this font, though. All three things are worth reporting, IMHO. Re: My assesment
I'm not criticising Sidux. I know it's a great team and a wonderful distribution. If there is anyway to keep the legacy KDE functionality I would appreciate it. As I can't myself liking KDE 4.x any more than I like Gnome. I hope you will be doing an xfce release as well for 2009.02. My immediate solution was a complete reinstall of 2009.01 in order to continue using KDE 3.x What I miss most in KDE 4 is a good taskbar, and konqueror just as it was in 3.x On Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 9:37 PM, Ferdi Thommes wrote: > Am Sunday 12 April 2009 02:32:10 schrieb George Bodley: > > KDE 4.2 is a huge mistake. Concerning konqueror, apart the search plugin that I am also missing (and unless I did not looked carefully enough to available packages or the settings), it is better than before IMHO - in particular pages with flash, with which version 3.5 is/was bad, frankly (nspluginviewer fault, perhaps). Just curious about what is wrong with Konqueror in KDE 4. Thanks, Cheers, JD. I can not run KDE - it simply hangs on booting when splash screen shows blinking HDD.
Good day. I can not run KDE - it simply hangs on booting when splash screen shows blinking HDD. I use therefore WM for now, but when I run KDE apps. I see long hanging before I actually see the apps. itself: kate (this one complains on mime/types), korhanizer, k3b, terminal-emu... If You have any suggestion how I can solve it, please, share it with me. It is Lenny, KDE 3.5.9 . I did install KDE latter after installing my base system - therefore, I never seen it is working on the installation. Pin to keep kde3.5.9?

KDE 4 version of amarok, koffice, etc. in unstable
Hi! When do you plan to move all KDE 4 applications to unstable? Because currently, e.g. amarok uses the .kde4 directory while the KDE base system uses .kde which is ... messy. regards matthias -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
