Nope, just built as usual... prelink is something the end user runs after package installation in any case. I will upload the rest of KDE 3.1.2 in the next few days, I am currently cleaning out the kdebase bug list, which started out with over 400 open bugs, I am now down to around 280 open. Chris

If you want KDE 3.1, you need to remove all KDE 2 apps because KDE 2 and KDE 3 interfere with each other when both are installed in /usr (which is what is used as the prefix for KDE on Debian). I talked with Danny on IRC and we agreed on that I'll write a HOW-TO for compiling your apps from source, maybe adding a buildscript. Compiling from source was the reason danny tried to use this but that debianrules file would have made things much more complicated and breaks more than it helps :) So, we should collect some input for a README.Debian for kdelibs4-dev. Problem using cryptplug with kmail
If I add /usr/lib/cryptplug/gpgme-openpgp.so to the list of Crypto plugins then click on OK, kmail forgets about it (upon opening the dialog again, it isn't there.). gpg-agent and pinentry-gtk work fine from the command line, or with kmail's bultin gpg support. Okay, is this a temp source glitch?
Old sources for kde at source.. say 404 for Packages. deb http://download.us.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/Debian stable main Kde site now says the latest srouces are at http://download.us.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian but that gives problems too. (404) deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.1/Debian stable main Well, that one still seems happy. What do we do to keep up on sources for KDE now? :) -- -- "Catch the Magic of Linux..."
