cdimage-testing
Hello, I have some questions about cdimage-testing. Since they are weekly generated is it possible the MD5SUMS files to be signed as well ? Hm, it would be better to rename MD5SUMS like hashes, sums or something more generic, and populate it with both md5 and sha1 sums, which will be signed by a member of debian-cd team at some point. While still unofficial will amd64 jigdo files be weekly rebuilt [1] [1] ftp://cdimage.debian.org/pub/test/maswan/amd64/ -- pub 4096R/0E4BD0AB 2003-03-18 fingerprint 1AE7 7C66 0A26 5BFF DF22 5D55 1C57 0C89 0E4B D0AB -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". I agree with you. Responding to Joey Hess : > What's the point of booting from the second CD? > Will it use syslinux instead of isolinux for old systems that cannot > handle isolinux? Yes, that was the idea of the other bootable images... keep syslinux for machines were isolinux is failing. I'm against copying udebs on all CD, so if d-i doesn't support the suggestion above we'll just remove the possibility to boot on other CD than the first. This is the right mailing list! Basically, downloading DVDs with jigdo under Windows works. The only thing you need to ensure is that you use an NTFS partition, because FAT32 does not support DVD-sized files.
