FYI: jigdo for 2.2R6 is out of date
In trying to build a set of CDs from jigdo, I discovered that the jigdo files in http://cdimage.debian.org/~atterer/jigdo/ refer to wmtv_0.6.5-2potato2_i386.deb which is no longer available. It seems to have been replaced by wmtv_0.6.5-3potato3_i386.deb. At least it was on all the mirrors I tried. Should have read: mkisofs's -B option's usage seems to have changed, so now needs a path from the current directory, rather than the root of the CD Fixing the path allowed the CDs to build, but I've no idea if they boot, so it might be good if someone would check that on sparc. Well, we really gave them to a UNESCO representative during the LSM. Covers are at http://oumph.free.fr/cd/ (original docs from http://buus.net/mads/cdart/ ). Press release is here (in French): http://lsm.abul.org/press/CPunesco.php3 The Debian representative was Loïc Dachary (http://www.dachary.org/loic/). DebianEdu (French distribution for schools based on Debian), AbulEdu (French distribution for schools) and GNU projets has also been given. I'll send a line to [EMAIL PROTECTED] this evening. I just found your message in my spam directory, while checking after false positives. Chinese and korean spam levels are really high these days and many people, who don't understand chinese and korean anyway, filter these messages. I have no info about Debian GNU/Hurd CDs. This is the usual problem that arises after a new revision of the stable release, before CD images/jigdo files for the new release are made. 2.2r6 contained the "-2" version of wmtv, 2.2r7 contains the "-3" version. The "-2" version was deleted from the servers when 2.2r7 was released. In the long run, the best way to make this less of a problem would be to leave the old revision's files on the servers for a week or two after the release.
